I cannot share the complaints about the site. If you inform yourself beforehand, there are hardly any surprises, not even regarding the price. These are among the best sanitary facilities we know and the individual bathrooms are great (identical to the sister site in Merano). The only thing I lament is the noise from the adjacent street and the sports field. Here, there is a paved pedestrian crossing with elevation and exit from the sports field. A speed limit of 30 applies here, but usually, people drive at 70 km/h. Since this cannot be influenced, a noise barrier should be built here. My recommendation is to choose a site that is far from the road. And for those who find the sites too small, they should choose a premium site.

And unfortunately the place didn't convince us either. On the positive side, we actually found all the regulations, the nice shower houses (even though there are still missing shelves here), the pools, and the terracing of the site. On the negative side, we found that the spots are really cramped (they advertise privacy, but unfortunately it doesn't exist), all the weeds at the edges and in the hedges, overall the place lacks that final touch. You can tell that someone has put a lot of thought into it and has invested a lot of money, but it lacks that certain something. I would take it as an overnight spot, but the price is too high for that. The location is of course great, with many hiking opportunities right at the door.

The camping site at Sonnenberg unfortunately did not convince us. For the high price, the price-performance ratio is not good. The plots are very narrow, there are many rules and hardly any space to spread out - real camping feeling does not arise. The sanitary facilities consist only of private bathrooms (shower, toilet, sink in one room), separate toilets or washing rooms are missing, as well as practical storage spaces. Positive aspects are the location, the view and the swimming pool. On the negative side: unkempt grounds with lots of weeds, poorly designed disposal stations and no proper restaurant - just a simple pizza. Overall, our stay was disappointing, and we will not return. For those seeking real camping comfort in South Tyrol, we recommend the Camping Schlosshof Luxury Resort in Lana - for us, the best campsite by far.

Very loud due to the adjacent street (cars and mopeds) and the heights in the square, which always require full throttle.

Very nicely located spot on a slope above Rabland. Reopening in June 2025: All spots have a great view of the valley thanks to the terracing. For motorhomes and caravans. No awnings allowed. Outstanding showers/WCs, everything new and top styled. All spots have water and electricity connections and a small lawn in front of the concrete parking area. Bar, 2 swimming pools, sauna area, etc. make the place a wellness oasis. Upon arrival, there is information with numerous regulations, which of course some people get upset about. But if you don't set these rules, after a few days you'll have the first person who lays their beloved tarp on the grass in front of the car.... and what remains is just dirt. We find all the established regulations absolutely sensible and welcome them! It would be desirable to have shelves in the showers, but that will surely come....

The campsite is well-maintained, clean, and really beautiful. We were there last weekend (July 18-20, 2025). Unfortunately, we were surprised on Saturday evening by a very strong tornado. Our sun awning was torn from its anchorage, just like that of our neighbors beside and above us. Our satellite dish, windows, and bodywork were also damaged by the strong gusts of wind. And here comes a major criticism: Even though we all knew that no one is at fault for such a natural event, we would have at least expected someone from management to come by, check on us, and see if everything was alright. A short conversation or a sign of sympathy would have been the least to expect - unfortunately, no one came. Perhaps this human aspect should be taken into greater consideration in the future.

A mega great place, incredible panorama, everything top modern and well-maintained, very dedicated to making everyone happy, the infinity pool is gigantic, unfortunately there is a lack of a no diving sign, many want to enjoy this and there is no theater.
