Beautiful Campsite
I have been to the campsite for the 2nd time and I find it really super beautiful there, what I miss a bit, however, are shopping opportunities for small things on the site.

The campsite has a good location right by Lake Plauer and the staff (e.g., bread service) are very friendly. Cancellation fees are pure extortion
We had to cancel the booked place 10 days before the vacation due to an acute illness - Despite the proof of the medical certificate, I find it very unpleasant that 90% of the paid booking is being retained. There was also no offer to rebook at a discounted rate during the season.

What can I say, a great location with super spots by the lake. For older people, it can be a bit challenging to get to the sanitary facilities, either far away or several steps up. Only Three Stars
The staff is super friendly and helpful. However, I can't recommend this place. With several hundred pitches and only five showers in total, it’s just terrible when the place is full. Unfortunately.

Good place, tasty rolls and bread.
Nice staff, clean place. Beautiful spots by the lake. The roll service works well. Relatively long distances to the toilets etc., bikes are recommended. No waste bags for dog poop throughout the site. Nice fellow visitors leave the dogs' business behind.

Located right by the lake, clean sanitary and shower facilities, very family-friendly! We recommend the site and would come back ourselves!

Always worth a trip...
We have been coming to this campsite for 2 years now, there is nowhere in beautiful MeckPom that you are as close to the water as here.
