- very nicely located campsite right by the Schaproder Bodden - well situated for excursions to Hiddensee, Stralsund, Sassnitz (chalk cliffs) - unique Wi-Fi (I have never had such fast Wi-Fi at a campsite, a newspaper was downloaded in 2-3 seconds) - ideal wind conditions for surfers/kite surfers

Good: Petting zoo, extremely relaxed operators, small shop, rustic flair. As relaxed as hardly any other place, seclusion is a big plus of this place and if someone needs shopping, they can just go shopping beforehand or need to go to the east side of the island, where there is more hustle and bustle. We were here for the second time and will definitely come back. Bad: NOTHING

Small place in an unbeatable location. Reception very friendly and helpful. Freshly smoked fish, sensational. Five minutes to the ferry and the restaurant. Unfortunately, the one in the square is closed. Sanitary facilities are basic but clean. Shower time is a maximum of four minutes, way too long. But better that way... We were very satisfied here and can only recommend it.

Lovely location directly by the sea. Swimming is difficult as the water is very long knee-deep. Unfortunately, you cannot rinse off for free after visiting the beach. Dogs are not allowed on the beach! The sanitation facilities could use a renovation. The showers work with tokens, but unfortunately do not always work, which does not bother the staff. The reception staff is more than unfriendly. The described establishment no longer exists. Wi-Fi only in the reception area. As a short stop for a visit to Hiddensee, it is well suited, but then it's nice to continue driving.

Very nicely located, great walks by the sea possible with a dog. The sanitary facilities are partially not very clean, which is more due to the guests, showers and toilets are somewhat limited in number, 1.50€ for 4 minutes. Operator is nice, unfortunately the restaurant was closed. Large shopping options 17 km away. Bread service available. Fresh fish was smoked several times at the site. All in all, we really enjoyed it.

As already described by others, a family-friendly, natural, and cozy campsite. If you want to have a party every evening, this is not the place for you; it is calm and laid-back in a North German way. The pitches are large and very affordable compared to Rügen. The staff is friendly, child-loving, and helpful; there was no problem that could not be solved. The wash houses are clean and in order. During the main season, they are cleaned several times a day, in the off-season once a day and as needed. The campsite kiosk has everything necessary for survival or what might be missing in the kitchen. On Wednesdays and Saturdays, the owner personally smokes freshly caught fish that tastes absolutely unique and can be purchased at unbeatable prices by pre-ordering. Directly at the site, there is a children's playground and a small petting zoo with tame dwarf goats. The town of Schaprode is small but fine, with a beautiful modern small harbor with a slipway, several excellent restaurants, and an ice cream parlor. Here you can find the best ice cream on the whole island. At the harbor, there is an ATM just a 5-minute walk from the campsite and the ferry terminal to Hiddensee. The sunsets in Schaprode, or at the beach from the campsite, are something special. Dogs are allowed.

The pet-friendly campsite on Schaproder Bodden on Rügen is ideal for camping with dogs. Families with children also appreciate the location directly on the Baltic Sea beach.
The campsite on the Schaproder Bodden in the north-west of Rügen is set on 2.5 hectares of well-kept grounds. Water sports enthusiasts can take advantage of the perfect wind conditions on the Baltic island of Rügen for surfing.
Boats can also be hired at the site, which has 150 pitches. But not only water sports enthusiasts get their money's worth at the campsite on the Schaproder Bodden, the youngest guests are also well catered for. Families particularly enjoy the well-maintained playground or the petting zoo with donkeys, goats and rabbits.
Thanks to the friendly welcome from the helpful staff, guests at the campsite on Schaproder Bodden feel at home from the very first minute. The two clean sanitary blocks with hot showers also contribute to this.
