Camping Am Sandfeld

A nice quiet campsite with friendly staff and great bread roll service. We were the only Dutch people at the campsite. (Delightful!)

We spent the Ascension weekend at the camping site "Am Sandfeld" in Koserow. We really liked the place. The owners and all the staff were friendly and always available to answer any questions. The pitches had electricity and there were several points on the site where you could get water. There were multiple disposal stations for cassette toilets available. It was also easy to dispose of grey water. We even had the opportunity to choose our own pitch on-site. The campsite is very well-kept and clean. It was also fantastic for our dog: short distances to the beach, there was a dog shower and dogs were generally very welcome on the site. The toilets and showers were clean and easy to use. Thank you so much for the great stay – we will come back... Cookies :-) that’s all I have to say!!!

Particularly special about this campsite is the Rosenzweig family, who welcomed us so warmly during the high season with a fully booked site and enriched communication with their charm and humor. The site is quietly located on the edge of the city, yet still so centrally located that the beach, shopping options, Karls strawberry farm, etc. can be reached within minutes. We praise the fresh and varied bakery offerings and snack options at the site. The sanitary facilities are mostly new and clean. Our pitch (No. 5) was superbly located, and we felt completely comfortable. We will return to Usedom and look forward to feeling a breeze on our faces.

Well-located campsite. Beach reachable in 10 min on foot. Restaurants and shopping options nearby. The campsite is very quiet and well-maintained. The staff are very nice and helpful. We always like to come back.

Very friendly reception, always friendly encounters with the staff and also with the Rosenzweig family. The pitches vary in size, our pitch was very large. The site has different elevations, which is due to the fact that the place Koserow is located on its own "mountain". Very quiet at night. I don't understand why both buildings with toilets and showers are next to each other. Depending on where you stand, the way is far. For the first time, I experienced that you have to change from street shoes to others, like flip-flops, for the shower. A good idea, because then the showers do not get dirty. The rolls were very good, there was a good selection available. Nearby the site is the Netto supermarket. There is a small playground for children.

Great reception, lovingly run family business, despite the late hour the owner always has time, is attentive, everything very clean, well organized, very quiet at night, good location, everything can be easily reached by bike!

The camping site Am Sandfeld is a really great place, very nice operators, everything you need is there, especially the pizza in the evening is really good.

Not too big a place in the middle of nature and yet close to the town. Since this part of Usedom is located on the Streckelsberg and the beach can only be reached via a large metal stairway, dog owners should have a dog that is used to walking on such stairs. Unfortunately, our female dog refused this, so we always had to drive further away to the beach with her. Otherwise, we really liked the place also because of the very nice operators.
