Beautiful campsite, the beach is more suitable for kite surfers than for swimmers.

Our first visit was very satisfying. The sanitary facilities were super clean and very modern. Personally, I also liked the option for washing dishes. The kiosk is well-stocked. The short walk to the beach is simply fantastic. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Our stay was restful for us, as it was nice and quiet during the week. However, what bothered me a bit were the beach visitors who also used the sanitary facilities on the campsite, leaving it in a pretty dirty state, with sludge and mud.

The name says it all: Camping am Nordseestrand welcomes its guests in a prime beach location. Every day, holidaymakers can be fascinated by the natural spectacle of the tides and join guided mudflat walks. Two-legged and four-legged friends can romp around together on the dog meadow, while children's laughter can be heard from the playground. The outdoor pool is another highlight of this idyllic campsite on the East Frisian coast.
Situated in the small village of Dornumersiel, the campsite on the North Sea beach is an ideal destination for anyone who enjoys being surrounded by nature. Breakfast with a sea view and falling asleep to the soothing sound of the waves, plus the fresh, salty sea air: all this promises relaxation and slowing down. The campsite, which is open seasonally, covers around three hectares and has 300 pitches for guests in addition to 111 pitches for permanent campers. These measure between 90 and 110 square metres. By the way, four-legged family members do not have to stay at home, but are very welcome here. A dog meadow borders the beach to the west, where dogs and their owners can meet like-minded people. The site even has a special shower for four-legged friends. Guests at the campsite on the North Sea beach appreciate the dog-friendly service as well as the high standard of hygiene in the two sanitary buildings called Barke and Boje. The colourful children's pool is specially designed to meet the needs of young camping guests. One sanitary building is located not far from the beach, the second is right next to the heated seawater pool. Guests can meet up for a snack and enjoy a refreshing drink with a view of the Wadden Sea at a small kiosk.
Leisure activities at the campsite on the North Sea beach include beach volleyball, windsurfing and even various sports courses. There is also a skateboard area. Holidaymakers can relax in beach chairs with a view of the sea. A sports boat marina belonging to the local sailing club is located in the immediate vicinity. A cycle tour or an extensive hike could take you to the village of Bensersiel, around 7 kilometres away. Ferries depart from here to the popular East Frisian island of Langeoog. Bensersiel is also home to the Wattenhuus, where visitors can find out more about the flora and fauna of the Wadden Sea. From the harbour in Neßmersiel, around 10 km to the west of the campsite, excursion steamers cross over to Baltrum.
