Friendly reception at the front desk. From then on, it's all about paying. 36,- € plus 15,- € for the early arrival (1/2 hour). For that, a nice view of the excavator fleet and the dog wash!

We spent New Year's Eve at the campsite. As there had already been plenty of rainfall the week before, we checked the website daily. Upon arrival, we were very kindly received and taken to our pitch. That's where the trouble started... The caravan had to be pulled onto the site with a tractor because the ground was already so softened. In order to get to our caravan somewhat reasonably, pallets were laid out for us. Help was offered to us multiple times. Additionally, the sanitary facilities were at the other end of the site. Unfortunately, there was a lack of self-reflection, as the answer was always to refer to "the others." The site is not suitable for winter camping, but I can still imagine it being very nice in the summer. Next time, I would leave immediately in this situation!

I don't understand the bad comments. Everything here is OK. With wife and dog. Too bad the restaurant didn't open.

We had a parking space right by the lake. Great hiking trails and right by the dog beach. Staff very friendly. That was it for the positives. The shower house smelled terribly of mold and moisture outside. Cleanliness could be better. Campers used the wash basins to clean their chemical toilets. Yuck. From our spot, we had a great view of the lake, but on the other side, we thought we had landed on the edge of a junkyard. Typical old and run-down permanent camping sites. The corrugated iron rattled all the time. Electricity had to be laid partly along the access path. We left early after one night. There was no inquiry as to why. We think this happens often, and the operators are probably used to it.

From the tent meadow to the toilets it is a bit further, but directly at the exit to the dog beach on the Elbe. Shower cabins in the second sanitary building could use partitions for placing clothes! Everything else was great, we will definitely come back!!!

Unfortunately, the campsite is run in the most stuffy style despite young owners. Total control everywhere. You are greeted by a stop sign, barrier, and pylons and strange access times. WLAN costs extra, water costs extra, access to the toilet cabins only with a magnetic card, and the key for waste disposal must be collected at reception each time. Since we are shipping our vehicle from Hamburg, we rented a mobile home here. Subpar - everything is original 80s. Musty damp smell, sunken beds, gas appliances questionable regarding safety. When we pointed out the circumstances, we were disbelievingly (not) listened to. “We only want satisfied guests here - if we are not satisfied, we should leave.” Said and done - at least we got our costs refunded. Therefore, 2 stars...

The sanitary facilities are indeed in need of renovation. Too few power outlets. Unfriendly long-term campers who report you to the operator because you once rode your scooter around the area at 2:50 PM (noon time is until 3 PM) for about 25m. Screaming children around the clock at the small swimming lake is considered "normal." Never again.

The campsite is easily accessible. The check-in was friendly and quick. The site is beautifully located with a swimming lake in the middle and a small sandy beach with a playground on the shore. The location directly behind the Elbe dam is also very nice. Here you can relax in peace and watch the passing ships. The sites are sufficiently large and offer enough space, so the distance to the neighbors is great. They are mainly grass pitches. The sanitary facilities seem very outdated and unkempt. The shower pressure is far too strong and not individually adjustable, which was very uncomfortable for children. The restaurant is absolutely not recommended. There was a choice of 3 different schnitzels. Everything is convenience food, it is not cooked fresh, and all this for a much too expensive price. A children's menu was not offered. In terms of price-performance ratio, the site is absolutely recommended!
