Camping am Leinritt

The site is small but nice. Everything is very clean. Even the slightly outdated sanitary facilities are well maintained! The site manager is very nice and always helpful. I would come back anytime! If one were to mention something negative, a bread roll service would be desirable.

The pitches are delineated with boundary stones, but what's the use if campers (or those who want to become campers) don't adhere to them and even block access paths? The site manager doesn't care. Open fires with the wood provided by the site are tolerated all night, even if the smoke is a nuisance and campers standing right next to it have to request a new spot. The inspection for the fire extinguisher at my pitch had expired since 2019. A definite no-go!!! The leash requirement for dogs is mandatory, even though most long-term campers don't follow it. I witnessed two dogs from a long-term camper charge at a passerby's dog. The site manager doesn't care. Last year, the site manager told me about major renovation plans from the owner. To this day, nothing has changed.

Beautifully quiet, very well-maintained grounds, right by the water, friendly people, sanitary facilities are clean, shopping options 5-10 minutes by car 🚗 everything is great 🚗 would be happy to return anytime and recommend it. 🏕

Beautiful spot right on the Main surrounded by vineyards. The pitches are generously sized, and even in the second row, you have a great view of the river. Here, you can wave to the cruise ships on their journey to Prague, Paris, or Amsterdam or count the freighters; it never gets boring. Especially for owners of four-legged friends, the area offers fantastic opportunities for strolling or jogging. If you plan your stay well, you can stop by the local "Heckerwirtschaften" for a wine tasting with typical "Hecker cuisine." Otherwise, unfortunately, there is still much room for improvement in the local gastronomy. Therefore, especially outside the Hecker season, self-catering is recommended. The new operators are working hard on upgrading the place, but of course, a complete modernization takes some time. The sanitary facilities are very clean, and there is everything needed for disposal.
