Camping am Kulkwitzer See

It was unfortunately the worst holiday of my life. Our Finnish cabin, located right under a streetlight, was heavily infested with spiders both outside and inside from dusk onward. Spiders crawled over the pillow, and through numerous unsealed gaps in the small wooden cabin, other spiders could enter. The entrance door was visibly not sealed on the sides. I had to move into the car with my little son at night. The next morning, we left, having to find emergency accommodation and cut our holiday short. Nevertheless, the operator charged us the full cost for all 5 booked nights, even though we only spent one night there. I am used to camping, but this was unfortunately unacceptable.

The check-in was straightforward, although the man at reception seemed a bit apathetic, he was friendly nonetheless. Unfortunately, the pitch was dirty and overall unkempt. The toilets/showers are very basic and old, and the toilet, in particular, was dirty. However, this is due to the guests and not the site, as they were cleaned thoroughly every day. We discovered the washhouse in area C by chance just before leaving, and it is nicer and newer. The lake is very beautiful, but we will not be returning.

Good location, top water quality, but a lot of foreign visitors lacking proper behavior and minimum standards of decency (Turks).

We were at Kulkwitzer Lake for the first time. Check-in was straightforward, but unfortunately the price-performance ratio is not good, 4 nights 220€ + Nice beach + Lidl within walking distance + Location is good, a stone's throw from the city center - Not a single trash can on the beach or on the premises, except for the official waste disposal site - Lots were right next to the public beach, consequently sound quality is poor - Sanitary facilities are inadequate, too few cabins, not clean, doors were constantly open - Area B has NOT A SINGLE fresh water tap - Glass shards on the lot floor - The ladies' restroom had no toilet paper at all, and instead of addressing this immediately, it was said that the cleaning staff would come by sometime and refill it. Thank you. - Laundry washing only for a flat fee of 10€ per day - Snack bar very expensive and limited - Mini playground, but in the shade

Bad: Check-In Management. 45 minutes of waiting because all the work was left to a friendly elderly lady. The other staff, including the boss, had disappeared between 2:30 PM and 3:30 PM. Outside, there were up to twenty people in the scorching sun. Really frustrating. Otherwise, the place is nice. Yes, the paint is somewhat worn. Still, we had fun.

Very loud, no help is provided in case of problems, over our plot and that of our plot neighbor there are permanently "ignorant people" who cooked outside and organized parties at night, went to the sanitary building and stumbled over our tent guy lines. We reported this multiple times to the reception. They simply told us it was our problem, with the alternative options to accept it or reject it. Incredible.

Nice campsite for outdoor activities. Very beautiful, clear lake.

It's a shame to send people away when there are free spots. The snack bar has restaurant prices and there is only self-service, a few years ago there was still table service.
