Camping Alto de Viñuelas

Very pleasant campsite. Simple, no 'fuss' and clean. Large showers. Swimming pool. Nice gravel stones on the pitches. Electricity at the pitch, water/sewage at the shower house. Washing machines. Access to the terraces is a bit tight and with trees, so rather for smaller vehicles and caravans with a mover. It creates an almost family atmosphere. Baguettes can be ordered at reception and picked up from 9:00 am the next day. Staff very friendly. Very nice view of the Sierra Nevada from the terraces. Located on a road, but that didn’t disturb. At night, you can hear poor dogs barking their hearts out.

Small campsite and small pitches. It's a constant flow of passersby. The sanitary facilities are reasonably clean but have many defects. There isn’t much hard work being done at this campsite. Cleaning done half-heartedly. Trash bins are too dirty to touch. The staff is helpful but seems not to be ‘involved’ with the campsite. The little pool is nice but not ‘dressed up’. An ugly concrete terrace without umbrellas and loungers. The restaurant is closed and will likely remain closed because it looks very desolate. Apparently, the restaurant is separate from the campsite and they have no influence over it. Still, the sign at the entrance reads CAMPING/RESTAURANT ALTO DE VINUELAS. The wifi is free and fine. Granada is beautiful!!! I found a parking space in the center through the receptionist. In the villages, there are great little restaurants. A car is definitely needed!!!

Wonderful individual and peaceful campsite in a fantastic location with a view of the Sierra Nevada. Terraced layout, not very suitable for large vehicles. Clean and well-functioning sanitary facilities. The small village of Beas de Granada is reachable on foot, with grocery market, restaurants, cafés, although not open daily in the off-season. Good hiking tours possible, see Komoot. Bus to Granada takes about 40 minutes, very affordable. Highly recommended.

Very friendly reception, very clean sanitary facilities, only the cassette disposal a bit dirty, no water hose, only tap. Pitch 25 easily accessible, great view of the Sierra Nevada and olive groves.

In winter, we often make a stop here on the way to the Atlantic. Easily accessible pitches with 100% sun (if it shines :-). Sanitary facilities are okay and heated. Relatively high altitude - it can get quite cool in winter.
