Camping Alexa

Well-maintained site, beautifully laid out with hedges and trees located on a cliff. Beach accessible via stairs. Quite empty in the pre-season, therefore also quiet. Few showers unfortunately only in one building at the eastern edge of the site, but continuously cleaned, as are the toilets spread throughout the site. Water/sewage and electricity at the pitch. All places along the road typically Baltic and North Sea with stalls, amusement facilities, restaurants (some with very good food). Excursions to Puck or Gdańsk are problem-free.

Super reception, large parking spaces, everything clean even when the place is full.

We were at Alexa in May. The ladies at the reception were very friendly and accommodating. They also spoke German. At that time, there were still plenty of spots available. The site itself was tidy and the sanitary facilities were very clean. There are 2 stairs leading to the beach, one to the left outside the campsite and one directly from the site on a narrow path with a short staircase at the end. The sandy beach itself is beautiful and the water is crystal clear. Dogs are allowed everywhere. There are good shopping opportunities in the nearby area. Overall, Camping Alexa is highly recommended.

👍 The site was clean and well-kept. You can hear the sound of the waves and the view of the sea is beautiful. Pitch/Rental accommodation: Our spot was surrounded by a hedge, which was very pleasant for us.

Clean and appealing sanitary facilities, many pitches are shaded and wind-protected due to the tree lining. A bread shop and a small supermarket, as well as a nice and good restaurant, are directly at the site. Since it is located by a steep coast, you have to access the sea over a natural path with some stairs. This unfortunately rules out water sports activities like SUP. The beach, however, is beautiful. A disadvantage is the very weak WiFi and very poor mobile reception at the site. The surroundings of the site, namely Wladyslawowo and Chlapowo, unfortunately offer almost nothing. Along the main road, one cheap shop follows another, alternating with kebab stands and fast-food stalls. It is not nice. Important: the last 50 km to the site have roads that are partially in a catastrophic condition with cobblestones, tank plates, and huge craters. Additionally, there are many traffic jams. The journey takes a very long time, just like excursions from the site.

Family vacation (2 adults / 4 children) and the first time at the Alexa campsite. We spent 2 weeks (late July to early August) with two tents. During this time, the pitches and roads are packed to the brim. However, this can also be found in every travel guide. + small manageable campsite + close to the beach + friendly staff + it is really quiet on the site by 11:00 PM + reasonable prices - cleanliness in the toilets - only two functioning washing machines and dryers - the shop is ok, but has no camping supplies (pegs, gas cartridges, etc.) - weak Wi-Fi Anyone traveling during peak vacation times should expect long waits on the roads, at museums, and attractions. Also be prepared for crowded beaches. However, those who are willing to walk a bit can find quieter spots on the beautiful Baltic Sea beach. All in all a nice experience, but we will not travel during this time again.

👍 We stood directly on the steep slope, overlooking the sea every morning. And even though it was windy, you could sunbathe very well there. 👍 The staff at the reception are super friendly, also in German if needed, but the other personnel, including the boss, are rather unfriendly. There were very few German guests. The location of the campsite is very nice. Unfortunately, there are also some issues; for several days, there was only cold water available for washing dishes.
