Culture fans will also get their money's worth at Camping Alex: After all, the campsite is located just a few kilometres from the centre of Bellinzona. On hot days, hikers can cool their feet in the turquoise waters of the Verzasca. You can get to know the valley in all its splendour on the 24.1 km Verzasca Valley hiking trail. It starts at the Verzasca reservoir and leads to Sonogno. The return journey is by post bus.
