The site is basically well suited for city exploration and tours in the surroundings (e.g. Barolo, etc.). About 2.7 KM to the city center. Only the showers are very poor and, as is common in Italy, there is often no toilet paper available. Bike path to the city. Bus stop right in front of the door.
