Camping Aiguille Noire
Campsite Overview

Campsite Intro
About
Set against the impressive backdrop of the Mont Blanc massif, Camping Aiguille Noire in Italy's Veny Valley is an ideal base camp for hikers, mountaineers and climbers. The quiet campsite with a family atmosphere, rental accommodation and a largely flat meadow area surrounded by conifers for caravans and motorhomes is located in the Aosta Valley region 6 km west of Courmayeur, one of the oldest climatic health resorts in the Alps. The campsite is a great starting point for the famous Tour du Mont Blanc, a 170 km long-distance hiking trail that circles the Mont Blanc massif. Shorter hikes lead to the region's picturesque glacial lakes such as Lago del Miage. There are three playgrounds for children at the campsite. Those seeking relaxation can enjoy a barrel sauna and a rejuvenating massage programme.
Located directly in front of the impressive backdrop of the Mont Blanc massif, this campsite is perfect as a 'base camp' for hikers, climbers, and mountain lovers.

A very beautifully located campsite with a fantastic mountain panorama. Very friendly staff. A small grocery store with a bread service and 2 restaurants. Bus stop right in front of the campsite. The sanitary facilities near the reception are lacking. Out of 3 women’s toilets, 2 were urinals. These are outdated facilities in great need of renovation. There was cold water only at the washing sinks; only one extra tap provided warm water. During the high season, there are too few showers and toilets. We went to shower between 5 and 6 PM without having to wait. The sanitary facilities were dirty, even in the corners of the ceiling where there were plenty of spider webs. The swimming pool mentioned in the description is actually a larger bathing tub. Tent area also available for hiking groups.

Site with mini market, barrel sauna, and 2 local restaurants. Very friendly operators who help with all questions!! Reception and mini market are open from 8 AM to 10 PM. Bus stop in front of the site (30-minute intervals), tickets are available at the reception. Great location for hiking. Sanitary facilities (3 areas) are clean but somewhat old. Very quiet at night. Small pool available.
