Camping Aigen

This is a great place to explore Salzburg. The site itself consists mainly of a large meadow with a gravel path. The meadow is not partitioned, which means it stays green even at the end of the season as it is used evenly. The sanitary facilities are a bit dated, but they are clean and functional. I had good Wi-Fi reception. The staff is extremely friendly. You receive a bus ticket and can get to Salzburg by public transport. However, I preferred to ride my bike along the Salzach (about 20 minutes to Salzburg). The place is simple but inexpensive.

Cozy, clean, 50 meters of cable for electricity is not bad, long-term and transit guests, great hiking area, oh yes free ÖVPN is included in the tourist tax for Salzburg

Very good, flat meadow spot in Salzburg. Public bus to the city center can be reached in 15 minutes. Tickets available at the reception. Very good restaurant with a wonderful outdoor garden in the square. Very accommodating! Everything is highly recommended.

Very nice and accommodating operators. Free choice of spots, new sanitary facilities, no parceled sites, if the power cable is not long enough the operator will help with an extension cable. Roll service available on site. Salzburg is easily accessible by bike in about 15 -20 minutes. All in all a recommendable site.

We were here in early May. The site was slightly busy. The open standing worked very well and the children had plenty of space to romp around. Super nice managing family with fresh rolls in the morning. Sanitary facilities are simple and clean, and the mountains and the forest border directly on the site. We really enjoyed it.

We stopped here for a night during a tour of Austria. Free choice of spots on a large, non-partitioned (partly sloped) meadow with loosely distributed power boxes. Everything was fine - including the standard sanitary facilities. For the navigation system: The site is located at Weberbartlweg 20 (not Glaserstr.) at 47.779935 N, 13.091348 O, which is about 240 m east of the position indicated in the app and on the website (as of 09.22). On the last approx. 50 m we were lucky - the cars coming from the direction of the narrow, non-visible curve could squeeze into a small niche.

The campsite is very quietly located. There are no fixed pitches. Everyone finds a spot on a large well-maintained meadow. We were welcomed by friendly staff. Very good restaurant on site, good menu with reasonable prices. Shopping options are also available at the restaurant. The toilets/showers were kept clean. 15 minutes on foot to the bus stop towards Salzburg city center. Tickets can be obtained at the reception. We had 4 wonderful days to get to know Salzburg. For that reason, we can really recommend this place.
