First, regarding the previous review: There is no dog ban on the beach. The signs only state that dogs should not enter the water in the swimming area. Dogs on the beach are absolutely allowed. The campsite is beautifully situated, but the fact that there is neither soap nor toilet paper nor hand-drying facilities is unacceptable for the price charged. The manager's argument that this used to be the case but is now all stolen by the campers is ridiculous. There are also soap dispensers and hand dryers that can be screwed in. The site has declined in recent years, and the camper audience resembles more of a clientele that goes to laugh in the cellar. Sociable gatherings are only tolerated to a limited extent by the often grumpy manager. The restaurant is good. All in all, there is a need for a general renovation of the sanitary facilities.

Dog ban on the beach and in the sanitary buildings, dog owners must have allowed a lot for it to come to this!!! We felt very comfortable.

A Paradise for Real Campers

Rentner Gerd

July 2023

A superbly maintained place with very nice planting and everything that makes the stay nicer: A very nice bar overlooking the sea, perfect restaurant, and large beach. Only the access to the sea is hindered by some rows of stones; you have to find the suitable spots. The rental bungalows directly on the beach do not disturb, but are especially popular with parents with children. It is a joy to watch the happily playing children in the water, who are enjoying themselves naturally and without monkey-like animation. There are remarkably many sensible parents here!

On the vast magnificent beach, the few sun sails are hardly noticeable, and surely no one has to complain about the soups; there is more than enough space🏖️‼️ in this paradise. Let other people live too 🙏

Beautiful place right by the sea. Lots of shade, short distances, clean sanitary facilities, nice service, good restaurant, very nice bar, the site is currently predominantly used by German-speaking campers, retirees, and young families. Not so great is that the mini market is really very mini and the nearest supermarket is quite a few kilometers away, as well as the bad habit at the beach of setting up large tarps for sun protection and then leaving them up for days.

A Top Place for Real Campers

Frank

April 2023

Here at Aginara, real campers feel very comfortable. People still communicate with each other and often sit together in the evening. The beach bar is unique and the restaurant is very good. Campers who want to stay among themselves and place great importance on absolute quiet after 10:00 PM should go to the 5-star neighboring site. The same applies to dog haters. As mentioned: Here, people still talk and laugh with each other. Furthermore, the beautiful beach bay (awarded multiple times) and the incredible flower display at the site should be mentioned. The entire facility has short pathways, and the pitches are romantically arranged. The showers and toilets are clean, and there is no separation between male, female, and perhaps soon "diverse". Ankeliki and her team do everything to ensure that one feels at home here.

We are here for the second time. The sanitary facilities are very well renovated. The staff is top friendly and helpful. The beach is naturally clean, coarse gravelly, and the water is very clean. The tavern has real Greek cuisine and is very reasonably priced. The shopping options are a couple of kilometers away, so it is advisable to use an E-bike. Back again next spring.
