Flat meadowland with hedges, ornamental shrubs, and tall deciduous trees. Noise protection wall against the busy access road. Pitch spaces for tourists located between rental accommodations. In the immediate vicinity, there is an amusement park and a nightclub.
Beyond the heavily trafficked access road to these campsites in the high season, there is the very large amusement park 'Amigoland,' which is open in the evenings in July and August. As was learned during the last inspections, the official closing time of 1:00 am was adhered to.

Unfortunately, everything was a disappointment. Pitch/Rental accommodation: Nothing
Cleanliness of the sanitary facilities. Limitation on the number of dogs per pitch. Boundaries of individual pitches. "Restaurant" underground. Pitch/Rental accommodation: Everything, or take away stars!

Very friendly and helpful staff!! The pool area!
While the pitches were clean, they were dusty and without grass/artificial grass they were unacceptable, and absolutely muddy in the rain!! Furthermore, having only one open toilet at night is an ordeal!! We would have liked to extend our stay, but these campsite conditions were terrible, especially since pitch 274 was constantly burdened with a foul smell from the dumping area!

Under the trees, lovely swimming pool and everything is very well maintained Standplaats/Huuraccommodatie: Good location
A bit more light in the shower area, less water via the timer would also be acceptable Standplaats/Huuraccommodatie: Nothing

The place. The proximity to shops and beaches. The safety in the campsite for kids. Location/Rental Accommodation: Overall everything is satisfactory.
Fewer evening activities. Location/Rental Accommodation: The mattress of the bed is uncomfortable. The welcome and services at the bar. The staff at the bar are unfriendly.

Friendly welcome Pitch/accommodation rental: camper site poorly accessible and too noisy
It's good to know that at this time there is a fair running daily until 2:00 AM. The access and exit for a motorhome is much too narrow. The toilets were heavily soiled. The grey water disposal was difficult to access.

The marina was nice Pitch/Rental accommodation: The staff was very nice.
The toilets were closed at night, from 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM. Amusement park across the street was not mentioned or referenced in the description. Loud shouting until 1:00 AM. Pitch/Rental accommodation: Toilets should be open at night.

The campsite was good, but at reception, there was no receipt and the service was a bit rude. There was no compensation after a week of cancellation due to a death, and even having to pay for one more day is outrageous, along with impolite responses.

Long sandy beaches, rugged rocky landscapes and picturesque fishing villages are part of its charm. Nestled in this beautiful natural landscape, the campsite offers families, sun-seekers and bathers a relaxing stay in a modern facility. Travellers with children particularly appreciate the proximity to the Amigoland amusement park.
Camping Abri de Camargue is located just 1,000 metres from the fine sandy beaches of the seaside resort of Le Grau-du-Roi. A free shuttle bus runs to the beach during the season. The site has 55 parcelled pitches on flat grassy terrain under palm trees, pine trees, tamarisk and oleander bushes. The large outdoor swimming pool, the indoor pool and the two water slides on the site invite you to take a dip in the cool water. There is a lake about 2 kilometres from the campsite where sailing, surfing, diving and boating are popular activities. The Le Sud restaurant with regional specialities and a large sun terrace guarantees a good meal on the campsite. Other amenities for campers include a bread roll service, sufficient power sockets for campers and motorhomes, a supply and disposal point for caravans and motorhomes and a gas bottle terminal. WLAN is available throughout the site and dogs are welcome.
In the vicinity of Camping Abri de Camargue, the Camargue Regional Nature Park invites you to cycle tours in a largely wild and peaceful landscape with ponds, marshes and wild animals. Cycling trips along the Canal du Midi are also popular. Children will love the "Amigoland" theme park near Le Grau-du-Roi. The town itself is not only known for its beautiful beaches such as LEspiguette with its high dunes and fine white sand, but also offers a number of sights and the flair of Occitania.
