Guests can breathe freely in the marvellous mountain world of the Allgäu at Camping Aach. The leisure paradise for the whole family is located 7 km from the centre of Oberstaufen. In winter, the campsite, which is open all year round, is the place to go for skiers, ski tourers and cross-country skiers. The cross-country ski trails lead past it. In summer, the campsite is a paradise for golfers: three courses are just a few kilometres away. There is also a children's playground, billiards and table tennis tables for variety.

Quiet and beautifully located

Beautiful location and despite the adjacent road, it is relatively quiet. Generally, it is quite calm in the area, almost too quiet for our taste ;-) We spent a lovely 10 days here. Operators are very friendly. There is a bread roll service; we did not test the on-site dining options. Mostly permanent campers, tourist spots are quite small - our "XL pitch" at about 60m2 would not have been usable with a large tandem plus awning. The WC disposal (as well as the sanitary facilities) is somewhat inconvenient above the site, partly only reachable via stairs. The large stairs (direct path from below) is also a bit "special" due to the uneven sizes, partially slanted and partially broken steps. We stood directly next to the access road up - it can get dusty at times; if everyone drove at walking speed as indicated in the site rules, it would be less problematic ;-) There are 2 sanitary facilities, one older and one more modern; they seemed clean and well-maintained. Shower time per coin is 5 minutes - it continues even if you stop the water. With the Campcard discount, we found the price-performance ratio very good. We had a lovely stay and therefore give it 4 stars.
