Camp Porat

With its secluded location and extremely friendly atmosphere, the tranquil Camp Porat is ideal for a holiday with the whole family. The site is surrounded by a sparse pine forest and impresses with its tranquillity.

Small campsite for families in western Croatia

Camp Porat is located in the Croatian county of Zadar on the island of Pag. The nearest municipality is Povljana. It has around 750 inhabitants and can be easily reached on foot. The island itself is mainly characterised by flat coasts of sand and gravel, but the hilly landscapes on the nearby Croatian mainland are a paradise for hikers. Water sports enthusiasts will enjoy the windsurfing and kitesurfing facilities on site. The resort has a total of 70 pitches for holidaymakers. The 50 of them, which are parcelled out, range in size from 50 to 90 m² and therefore offer enough space for couples, families and groups of several people. On the total area of 1.6 hectares, there are also 19 rental accommodations and 5 pitches for permanent campers. The facilities at Camp Porat include a children's playground with slides and much more for the little ones. Dog owners will also appreciate the dog shower. Thanks to the washing machines and the facilities for drying clothes, a longer stay at the campsite is also possible without any problems. There is also a baby changing room in the sanitary facilities. Holidaymakers can also expect fast Wi-Fi throughout the campsite and can also use the internet corner with computers. A fridge and a cool box can also be borrowed. Overall, the atmosphere at Camp Porat is both quiet and very informal.

Excursion destinations and sights along the Adriatic coast

In addition to the beaches along the Mediterranean, the island of Pag offers a number of cultural sights, of which the church of Leporine and the Crkva Sv. Nikole are particularly easy and quick to reach from Camp Porat. Also worth a visit is the Crkva svetoga Kriza, which was built around the year 800 and has been preserved to this day.
