The campsite is really very beautiful, a place where you can truly relax. The location is lovely, the sea is not too cold and it is also clean! The staff were very nice to the children, which made us feel at home. The campsite itself was very clean. Everything was well-maintained and the distances between the cabins were fine. I highly recommend this campsite!

The campsite was very noisy and the pitches were very close together. The staff was not customer-oriented. Already at check-in, they were very unfriendly. Since we were next to 3 very loud groups who partied late into the evening, we wanted to change pitches. Again, the staff was not very friendly or supportive. Our son (12 years old) was charged as an adult, even though children aged 2-12 appear on the price list. When asked, we were told that he was no longer 12... The location by the water was perfect and the beaches were great. The sanitary facilities were very clean.

Dreamlike atmosphere in nature and seclusion. Peace and relaxation guaranteed. Small campsite with about 75 plots and a large tent area in a well-shaded pine grove. One of the top ten restaurants (independent reviewer) directly at the site. Fish dishes absolutely top-notch. Sanitary facilities very well maintained and very clean. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Minimarket at the site is physically very small but surprisingly well-stocked. We were here for 3 weeks in September 2023. The sea was pleasantly warm at 24 degrees, and the daytime temperatures were already in the comfortable range between 27 and 30 degrees. A remarkable vacation with a high memorability.

Beautifully (secluded) campsite at a lighthouse. Very good restaurant right by the sea. Shopping in the MicroSupermarket is limited, but possible. Very popular and fully booked, therefore reservation (even for just 1-2 days) is highly recommended! Otherwise, there is only one other campsite on the whole island. Then, the only option is the return trip by ferry to Zadar.

We were at this campsite last summer and would go back immediately. Dreamily beautiful location, perfect to just unwind. The only downside would be the shopping options. Otherwise, everything is perfect. The restaurant on site is also recommended.

If you like to enjoy the unspoilt beauty of nature on holiday, Camp Kargita is the perfect place for you. Here, the crystal-clear sea with its various shades of blue and a relaxed atmosphere make every family holiday an unforgettable experience.
Camp Kargita boasts an exceptionally beautiful location on the western tip of the dream island of Dugi Otok. With its turquoise-blue sea and breathtaking sunsets, the coastline rivals even the most beautiful Caribbean islands. The campsite offers direct access to a rocky beach. Nestled in a natural wooded area, the campsite is also child-friendly and welcomes dogs. This makes Camp Kargita the perfect base for families looking for a relaxing beach and nature holiday. There is hardly any other place where you can enjoy the unspoilt beauty of the Dalmatian coast of Croatia as much as here.
The well-kept campsite offers its guests spacious pitches, all of which have electricity. There are also two well-equipped sanitary facilities, a laundry room and Wi-Fi in designated areas of the site. A playground and a volleyball court on the site provide leisure fun for young and old. Snacks and refreshments are available in the small camping shop, while the restaurant serves regional classics. There are also four barbecue areas on the site, which create a rustic and cosy atmosphere on the campsite. At the same time, the site is located far away from large towns and cities, so lovers of peace and seclusion will get their money's worth here. The surrounding area is perfect for exploring on foot. Camp Kargita also rents out bicycles on request. These can be used to easily reach Sakarun Beach, for example, which is around 5 kilometres away. This fine sandy dream beach is located in a sheltered bay with crystal-clear water, which is why children can also swim here without hesitation. For breathtaking hikes along picturesque cliff landscapes, it is worth making a detour to the Telascica Nature Park in the wild south of the island, just 50 kilometres away. Camp Kargita is also just 300 metres from the Veli Rat lighthouse. Built in the 19th century, the lighthouse is one of the largest in the Adriatic and a perfect vantage point for unforgettable sunsets.
