The campsite is great. Sanitary facilities are top-notch. When registering by phone, we were asked to first check in online before entering the reception. A somewhat strange behavior. Then at the reception, there was another, very friendly lady who also took our registration manually. The restaurant was a bit disappointing. On Friday evening, there was only pizza or flammkuchen, apparently frozen goods and currywurst with fries. I expected more.

Great place by the river, super beautiful location in nature. Outstandingly nice and friendly owners. Cozy restaurant, everything very, very clean and top modernized. Nice offers for children, playground, pony riding, and offers for activities.

This is our 5th time here. We have experienced all facets of the forces of nature here and can say: there is no more beautiful place for us than to be here. With three children and the Wohnmobil (RV), we feel completely at home here. The owners are top-notch! There are rules - and they make sense. Everything is clean, everything is stylish, and there is a whole lot of love for detail everywhere. Keep it up!

Anyone who approaches the reception with a question should expect personal attacks. It makes one feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. The stress behind the counter should not excuse unfriendly behavior towards guests. A good interaction would be appropriate. Romantic sayings won't help in this case. Among all the campsites, we chose this one and are now upset.

Great campsite in a beautiful location. Super clean, very well thought out, many nice details, and really friendly service! For everyone to relax and kids can be kids here: nice playground for the little ones, and the bigger ones can 'frolic' in the adjacent forest and in the Rur. Simply wonderful! Thank you very much!

We are very excited. The children thought it was totally great to have the Rur right at the door. Everyone was really nice. We called shortly before, and the contact was very pleasant there too. We will gladly come back!

Everything fits, good well-kept site, with wellness music in the sanitary facilities. The sanitary facilities were always top-notch, 3 days stay in the off-season. The operators are friendly at reception. The guesthouse was not tested, but was always frequented by people. The location of the site is somewhat enclosed. Campsite pitch in the front row, directly by the Rur river, can be perceived as loud, it's a matter of taste. Otherwise, the site is located quietly. Hiking trails are directly at the entrance to the site.

If you want to spend a carefree break with your own horse, Camp Hammer is the place for you. The campsite attracts families with playgrounds and a swimming area at the nearby stream. There are also nature experience programmes for young and old throughout the year.
Surrounded by the dense forests and hills of the Eifel, Camp Hammer is located by the babbling Rur. Beautiful pitches with electricity await guests. Those who want to send holiday photos home directly from the pitch can book WLAN. Self-catering guests can buy bread rolls and groceries in the small shop on site. The well-equipped guest kitchen has an ice chest, fridge, microwave and hob. Bistro Der Hammer serves tarte flambée, steaks and many other delicacies, while the fun children's programme at Camp Hammer includes pony walks through the forest, cooking together and an exciting mushroom hunt. There is also a large playground to keep them active. If the weather is not suitable for outdoor activities, the little ones can meet up in the nursery. On hot days, water lovers can cool off on the pebble beach on the Rur. The campsite offers horse owners a very special experience: they can take their four-legged friends on holiday to the Eifel National Park. The animals live in a pasture with shelter and a paddock.
