First Camp Gränna – Vättern

Large area by the lake with large pitches. Short distance to Gränna with its shops including a supermarket. The sanitary facilities were clean and okay. In peak times it might be a bit tight. Ideal for cycling tours as well as visiting the nearby island by ferry. The site is heavily used by passing travelers, so there is constant coming and going. Many good restaurants at the harbor and in the village. For a stopover, we would definitely come back.

It is a very nice place. The pitches are large and the sanitary facilities are very clean.

Very large campsite directly by the lake. All pitches are on grass with electricity and water, and are very spacious so that there is enough distance between neighbors. No trees for shade present. Two modern new sanitary buildings, usable only with a chip card. Sometimes there are bottlenecks, showers were not always warm. Trash, disposal, etc. everything is present. Campsite well organized, friendly, helpful reception. Shop present. Gastronomy nearby. Direct access to the lake, swimming possible. You can also sit comfortably by the lake in the evening. About 10 minutes to the village. Gränna is geared towards tourism, yet worth seeing. The access to the campsite through the village, however, is an obstacle course, as there is only one road that is narrow and parked up. Campsite can be recommended.

short-term booked online for 3 nights in June 2023 - with senior discount - was cheaper than the new pitch right next door. Very friendly and helpful service. Very large pitches. Sanitary facilities clean and in good condition. We felt very comfortable. Great for exploring the surroundings, whether cycling to the island of Visingsö or hiking up to the Tegnertornet.

Large area right by the lake. The washrooms are partially renovated. The camping spots are large and well-maintained. The noise level at the site, especially in the evenings, can sometimes be high. As we visited this spot during the Easter holidays, the festive mood of some guests might have contributed to that. It didn't bother us further. We would come back for a stopover.

Quiet spot located directly by the lake. The lake is only separated by a footpath. Town center is about 800 meters away. Sanitary facilities partly modern and clean.

We were only disturbed by the noise from the "adults", who celebrate until after midnight; for that, the "5-star price" seemed too high for us!!!
