The Arena Stupice Campsite is located in a natural paradise between the crystal-clear sea and an ancient pine forest. The sound of the sea and the chirping of birds can be heard from many of the campsites.
Arena Stupice Campsite is located in the very south of the Istrian peninsula in Premantura. Water sports enthusiasts particularly like to book a pitch: there is a water sports centre on the campsite grounds. Here, holidaymakers can hire pedal boats or rowing boats, take part in surfing courses or race through the waves on a jet ski. The rocky beach with sandy bays borders directly on the campsite. The nearby Cape Kamenjak Nature Park is a great excursion destination.
A beautiful pine landscape and a treeless peninsula offer campers all possibilities. Those seeking peace and quiet will find it here as well as surf enthusiasts.
Convenient starting point for visits to Pula (bus stop at the campsite). Located on hiking and cycling trails. Self-check-in.

We have been coming to Premantura with our friends every year for over 20 years to enjoy the spring at Kamenjak. The home base of our group is our Mobile Home settlement at Kamp Stupice. This year there are new Mobile Homes! They are very elegant and perfectly equipped! Both rooms have their own bathroom, induction stove, dishwasher, air conditioning, and a stunning veranda. Individual spots have been created for each house, with oleanders, vines, etc. Very cozy :) Natali and the whole team from reception and service are very friendly and help with all concerns, ensuring everything is perfect so everyone can enjoy their vacation! We are already looking forward to the next time!

The search for a spot despite online booking is an imposition and a catastrophe. The pitch must be searched for in the reserved area. We had to rebook to a higher class at the campsite, and yet finding a free pitch was an adventure tour! The offer of restaurants and shopping options within is okay! After the gate outside, the center with many possibilities is already there. Caution with large camper vehicles, as the number of suitable pitches in the wooded area is very limited!

Certain spots have a great view. In the restroom building, there were only closed showers facing outside and unfortunately, all without any shelves. Things had to be placed outside on the path. Only a screw in the wall. In the new restroom building 2, there was a slight shelf in the shower, but at the sinks, there was no way to hang or place personal items. Here there was only the sink with a large mirror. The cleaning was okay, but the hygiene was rather questionable! The service at the reception was sometimes very friendly, but sometimes unfriendly, depending on the staff member. For searching for spots, you can drive with the car or camper van, which simply causes unnecessary traffic with noise and disturbance in the area. Why not just park the vehicles at the entrance, explore the area on foot, and note down a few spots as options!

As previously reported multiple times, you must find your own parking space on site. You can reserve a direct parking space if you invest 100 euros. When searching, it's better to note down more than 3 seemingly free spots before returning to the registration. Sanitary facilities are somewhat aged but are cleaned several times a day. The campsite is natural, which means that parking spaces are rare. Don't forget the ramps, but they sometimes aren't sufficient. Showers and electricity are included in the price. Power boxes are available, but bring enough extension cords. There is a bakery in front of the entrance. Bring your own groceries, it is expensive. There is a large supermarket in the direction of Pula. It is best to buy fruits and vegetables at the market, not in the supermarket.

The first two weeks were in September 2022. The first week was still before school started in Austria, and therefore the place was about 50% full. The second week was very, very quiet. The two restaurants were top-notch. The staff was very friendly, accommodating, and the prices were also reasonable. Not typical for a campsite. There was a problem with the reservation: you pay around €100 only for the area but NOT for an individual spot. Therefore, you first find a suitable place. With the caravan, it is a bit difficult without a mover since the whole terrain is sloped and sometimes steep. Be sure to bring additional wooden wedges!!! The washing facilities and toilets have aged, but they were ALWAYS clean. A lady was on-site the whole day. The restaurant at the campsite was very well stocked and the prices were not outrageously expensive either. In the village of Premantura, there are also several establishments that are highly recommended. Particularly the Konoba Casa Mia is highly recommended. But without reservation, nothing works there. First-class!!! Due to the location of the campsite and the village, an eBike is recommended. Without elevation, nothing can be reached. :) The trip to Cape Kamenjak by bike was very nice and the bays were not particularly overcrowded. In summer, this place gets busy. The earlier you arrive, the better the spot. The many cars that can drive to the Cape after paying a fee are annoying. In summer, up to 3,000 cars per day!!! Unfortunately, it wasn't as sporty as we had imagined. For surfing, kitesurfing, and wing foiling, there are unfortunately no good access points to the water. Both wings unfortunately had small holes due to sharp stones and the board is quite scratched. For kitesurfers, landing and taking off is possible in a large area (football field), but then the walk around the foreground peninsula begins. Not entirely safe in gusty winds, but doable. All in all, a very nice place if the season is right.

The campsite is an ideal starting point for visiting Cape Kamenjak. The view of the sea, the offshore islands, and Medulin is very beautiful. The site itself has very few level and flat pitches. Leveling is absolutely necessary. The sanitary facilities are outdated but are regularly cleaned. The showers are far too small. The supply and disposal of the motorhome is possible but not very comfortable. If it weren't for the great location, we wouldn't be able to give three stars.

Upon arrival, one is supposed to find a free spot oneself, although the area is huge and the boundaries of the pitches are very hard to discern. Then one has to go back to the reception, which is 2 kilometers away, and line up again. If one is unfortunate, someone might be faster or the spot could be mistakenly double-booked. We observed many newcomers wandering around with the plan in hand, searching for a free spot. Dramas unfolded before our eyes. We will not be returning to this place.

The staff at the reception is friendly. The site is not that great, no real plots, every inch available is used for the pitches. As a result, it is simply crowded and difficult with a motorhome. The sanitary facilities are clean but old.
