Arena Indije Campsite

The location by the bay is very nice. However, the pitches are small and very uneven, with a few exceptions. I find the prices overpriced. The staff are not very friendly. We felt ripped off. We booked a pitch that cost 117 € for 3 nights. Then we were sent to the far corner with an 8.5 m motorhome, where we could barely squeeze through on the right and left. We couldn't even fit onto the pitch, which could only accommodate a tent at best. Fortunately, a spot was free, so my husband could maneuver. However, without his driving experience with trucks and buses, we would have been in trouble. We then moved to another pitch without water. This one was supposed to cost 92 € according to the offer. However, we weren't refunded anything, so we didn't extend our stay. It's a shame, beautiful bay.

Beautiful campsite, great panorama, unfortunately many pitches are slanted. The cleanliness of the toilets is average, and the walls should be cleared of spider webs and dirt. Two weeks before closing, two sanitary areas were cleaned and closed, which was not nice.

A beautiful location with plenty of shade from trees, a well-stocked supermarket on site, and a great restaurant by the sea. Some of the sanitary facilities are relatively new, but access to the sea is via rocky slabs, making swimming shoes necessary. The pitches in the front row are almost all without shade. The electrical infrastructure is absolutely inadequate, with some faulty units and long distances to the power supply. The camping management was unfriendly and arrogant. We had reserved a pitch and paid a reservation fee, but when we arrived, we were told that the pitch was occupied. We were offered another pitch in the same category. If we didn't take it, they would refund our reservation fee, and we could leave. An outrageous behavior that we had not experienced in Croatia before. After talking to other campers, several had encountered the same problem.

This campsite is well-located with direct access to the beach. We really liked the location. Electricity was available at the pitch, but water was not, even though this was stated in the description. Unfortunately, the staff responded somewhat reservedly to our mention of the missing water connection. The terrain is partially sloped, which can make it somewhat challenging to set up a caravan depending on the pitch. The sanitary facilities in our area consisted of two containers that could definitely use some refurbishment. It was a positive note that cleaning staff were regularly present to take care of cleanliness. Overall, a nicely situated place with great beach access, but there is potential for improvement in amenities and sanitary facilities.

We were initially at the premium spot right in the front. We were informed that the washrooms would be closed. So we moved. Found a nice new spot near the new wash house, everything was great... then we were informed again that the wash house would be closed starting from 12.09.23. Now there was the option to use a wash house at the very end of the spot, about 5 minutes away. The other one is also 5 minutes away. If you are in a hurry or not very good on foot, it is simply impossible. After consulting with the reception, we were told that the personnel costs are too high. No discount is offered either. It's a shame, the women at the reception were very nice, only the boss is not, apparently has to save....

A wonderful campsite for people who enjoy nature and tranquility! You camp on forest ground, there are huge pines, wonderful shade, and a rocky beach that easily leads into the sea with water shoes. A small supermarket, a restaurant, and another restaurant just outside. Highly recommended :-)

The campsite is large, but the surrounding area is also huge, so everything is well spread out. The infrastructure (sanitary facilities, etc.) is very generously designed. You rarely have to wait (for example, to take a shower). Everything was clean and well maintained. The management of the campsite is professional and the location is fantastic. In front of the gate, there is a good restaurant with reasonable prices (Restaurant Klaudia).

In mid-June 2023, we stayed at the CP Arena Indije in our motorhome on the superior pitch 204 (almost level, sufficiently large) with a direct sea view and about 150 m to the stone/rock beach. The beach was clean, and the water was absolutely clear. We used the nearby sanitary building No. 2, which is new and in excellent condition. Clean showers and toilets, a clean and well usable washing area, all of which were cleaned multiple times a day. However, there were also older sanitary buildings in other areas of the site and also very uneven pitches; the disposal of the chemical toilet was only possible in sanitary building 1. The staff of the campsite operator were nice and helpful, many spoke English. Throughout our stay, we had free, stable Wi-Fi. The bus stop in Banjole was about 2.5 km to the bus to Pula. The city with all its attractions is quite impressive. We also enjoyed the bike ride to the Kamenjak peninsula up to the cliff divers, but the bike paths along the coast and to Kamenjak are more suitable for mountain bikes than for regular trekking bikes. The hiking paths along the coast were sometimes just narrow and stony paths. At the campsite, there was a small shop for everyday items, but with steep prices. In the Bistro Claudia outside the campsite, there were good food and drinks at fair prices. Overall, we had 5 nice days there and were satisfied. It was annoying that there were too few and too far away power connections, so long cables had to be laid even over pathways.
