Small, quiet, cozy, uncomplicated place with clean, modern sanitary facilities, beach, and great fjord view.....exactly what we like.....from September to Whitsun, surfing and kiting are prohibited here due to the bird protection area Tiperne. We were here at the end of September; I think it is much busier here in summer......the kiosk was only open for one hour every day but that was not a problem since you can get rolls and co at Kjøbman across from Esmarck (about a 4-5 minute walk)

Campsite directly by the sea. Shallow water suitable for children, you have to walk too far to swim. We had a nice, large site in a quiet location. Sanitary facilities clean, but as usual too few. Reception German-speaking, very friendly.

We really liked this place. Not only the very good price-performance ratio, but also particularly the optimal location directly at the Ringkøbing Fjord were the most important reasons for us. Surfers and SUP boarders find very good conditions here, as in this area of the fjord it is rarely deeper than one meter, making it easy for beginners to get started. With good wind, kitesurfing can also be practiced here. Families with small children also have the opportunity to let their kids splash around in the shallow water. But also those who have come here because of the proximity to the North Sea will get their money's worth. The place is only about 1.3 km from the wonderful North Sea beach and is therefore still within walking distance. The site offers its own supermarket with reasonable prices, and the sanitary facilities are good and usually clean. However, some guests are rather the cause, but I believe that this is the same at all sites. There are six free and two paid family showers, as well as two large shower and washrooms. A large dishwashing room with two free cooking stations and two ovens is available. Washing machines and dryers are also available, but of course, they are chargeable. Everything made a good impression on us. We can recommend this site and would be happy to come back.
