Big Bear Plitvice Nature Resort

The location for Plitvice National Park is good.

Very sober camper site. The sanitary facilities were clean, but the water pressure in the showers leaves much to be desired, the taps in the rinsing area spray in all directions. Lights flicker and in all 6 paper towel dispensers there was no paper. The trash cans were overflowing, and no waste separation was visible. Furthermore, the site is quite far from the park entrance (about 40 km). One must know that. No rolls or other shopping opportunities. One expects a bit more than just a restaurant from the term resort. The staff member at the reception was very friendly.

Super campsite, location is quiet despite the adjacent road. Sanitary facilities are super clean and especially very friendly staff. The restaurant is also highly recommended.

Nice campsite, once the trees have grown. We stayed there for one night. The washroom is top-notch. It would be nice if the shower time were longer and you didn't have to press the button every 5 seconds. The restaurant was really delicious. We ate and drank Croatian food, and we got a recommendation from the chef. The reception was also great, they took the time for us that we needed with our English. We can recommend the place, although we ourselves wouldn't stay longer than 2 days. We would be happy to come back when we are passing through.

The parking spaces are spacious and level. Sanitary facilities are clean. There is still a lack of shade as the little trees still need to grow. It is worth mentioning that the washing machine and dryer were free. Unfortunately, there are no shopping facilities in the immediate vicinity.

It is a beautiful camping site and perfectly located.

Very well-maintained facility with beautiful, partly gravel pitches, ideal for motorhomes but also suitable for caravans. Sanitary facilities are very clean and well-kept. Pitches with electricity and water connections. The disposal station for motorhomes and chemical toilets at the end of the site is expandable. Friendly staff and a good restaurant. Very good price/value ratio. Unfortunately, no shop. Highly recommended for people looking for peace and quiet while still wanting to be active. Located in the middle of a national park. Dog owners have plenty of alternatives for relaxing walks. Price per dog/night in 2023. € 0.40 (no typo).

Although the site is supposed to be open until November, as of November 5th, all water-related services are turned off, meaning there is no fresh water, no toilet, no waste disposal, no shower, no sink. The restaurant is also closed in the evening. However, one still pays €20 per night for the basic parking spot. This is quite a lot for what is offered.
