The 1,800 metre long Vela Plaža pebble beach has been awarded the Blue Flag for its excellent water quality. Guests can also cool off in the campsite's pool area. In addition to the relaxation pool, there is also a 30°C paddling pool for children with a water playground and slide. In summer, the youngest guests not only meet at the playground or on the beach, but also at the Maro Club. Here, caring supervisors offer a colourful holiday programme for children aged three to 12. In addition to creative workshops, there is also a mini disco and sports activities. During the high season, there is also a full-day entertainment programme for adults. The programme ranges from morning gymnastics to sports tournaments and culinary workshops. Guests of the Baška Beach Camping Resort can use the neighbouring hotel's gym and beach volleyball court free of charge.

Walks and hikes around Baška

The mountain landscape around Baška is one of the most popular hiking regions on the island of Krk. Particularly impressive is the 7.5-kilometre "Path to the Moon" tour, which takes its name from the crater-shaped landscape on the way to the summit of Hlam. Once you reach the top of the mountain, the views as far as the Velebit mountain range and the town of Baška are breathtaking. The 5-kilometre trail to the Skuljica viewpoint, which passes right by the campsite, is also very scenic. The route first leads through a dense pine forest and later up to the 150 metre high bag. On the way back, you will pass the striking lighthouse at Cape Skuljica. If you are planning a walk through Baška, you should definitely take the "Glagolitic Trail", which starts at the Treskavac Pass and features 34 stone sculptures from the Glagolitic script.
