This campsite is beautifully located. There is a sauna for rent, and cooling off can happen in the adjacent stream. The washroom is super clean. Even in October, when really only a few guests stay here each week, it is cleaned twice a day.

Very well located site for winter in the Giant Mountains. The new operator has already made a lot of changes in the last two years. We have felt very comfortable there for many years and sometimes enjoy just the peace in nature. Since the campsite is at the end of the village of Spindler Mühle, right at the entrance to the Giant Mountains nature reserve, it is relatively quiet there. The Elbe flows along the back. Since last autumn, food and many other items can also be ordered through an online delivery service that delivers twice a day. Shopping options are a bit further in the village. The location is perfect, simply dreamy. The spot is well-maintained, there is an electricity connection available, unfortunately, water/wastewater is not. However, what is especially worth mentioning is the super easy check-in. This can be completed online during the journey. The sanitary facilities are good, but their cleanliness is subpar. This is partly due to the guests themselves, but also because they are only cleaned once a day. The emptying of the chemical toilets is also not exactly a highlight.
