A great spot. We were here for five days and had a small pitch for our mini camper. The staff is very friendly, the sanitary facilities are somewhat outdated but clean and intact. There is a restaurant with good food and a beach bar with a large selection of drinks. Mixed public in terms of age and nationality. There are showers set up in the beach area, and the Balaton is accessible via a large pier with a platform. There are no shopping facilities on the premises, but a few hundred meters away there are two supermarkets. Dogs are required to be leashed on the premises and swimming is prohibited, which we really liked. We felt very comfortable here.

A very nice, well-kept site. The team is very committed to keeping everything in order. Very good and new sanitation facilities. Supply and disposal are simple but functional. Toilet cassette emptying is separate. Unfortunately, the minimarket is no longer there, so you have to drive to the local SparMarket to get rolls. We will gladly come back.

The location is very beautiful, the swimming area with the pier is excellent and the lake is great as well, the tent meadow is right at the shore, but the pitches are also very nice. The sanitary facilities are clean, functional, and sufficient. The staff were very friendly and dedicated. It was a shame that not everything was running smoothly yet (were we too early at the end of May?). The selection of food and drinks was somewhat limited, and card payment at the bar and restaurant unfortunately did not work. But it was fine with cash and change. For us, it was Saturday and there were two groups at the site, and the operator seemed to be celebrating some kind of season opening. The noise level was still okay, otherwise, the place is very quiet, just starting at midnight that evening. Still: thumbs up!

We wanted to stay for 3 nights, but unfortunately we only managed 1. The campsite is a dilapidated remnant from the zone times. The water quality was absolutely unacceptable! Normally, the beach access, which leads over a pier and stairs through reeds into the water, should have been closed! The Balaton resembles a sewage treatment plant here. The sanitary facilities are dreadful but somewhat clean. The restaurant is not recommended! I don’t know when I last ate so badly. There are no shopping opportunities at the site and no bread roll service either. Almost worst of all is the clientele at the site, sorry. Old people who go on cheap holidays and have to celebrate loudly until the night, and then drunkenly stagger everywhere. That evening there was a dance event at the campsite. There’s nothing wrong with that. But do they really have to hold counter-parties with drunken pensioners and shine lasers all over the site? The positive thing about the loud music until midnight was that you could hear the high-speed trains rushing past the site somewhat less loudly.

Relaxed family atmosphere, helpful staff. Lots are unkempt and uneven. Sanitary facilities are adequate, partially in need of repair, centrally located. Restaurant adapted in taste for tourists, very reasonably priced.

Absolute photography ban, many spiders in the sanitary area in the morning, evening & night. Laundry washing included, cooking facilities in the sanitary area. Some pitches are very uneven. Quiet at night despite proximity to the train.

The campsite in Balatonberény, specially designed for naturists, is a wonderful holiday destination for campers of all ages. The campsite is characterised by its informal and relaxed atmosphere and its direct proximity to Lake Balaton.
The Naturist Berény campsite covers an area of more than 5 hectares with over 210 pitches for camping holidaymakers. The pitches are subdivided and separated from each other by rows of trees or hedges, so that there is enough privacy for everyone. All pitches have an electricity connection. There are also facilities for emptying caravans and trailers. Free WLAN is available throughout the site. The campsite, where mainly naturists spend their holidays, also has a private section of beach where naturists feel at home. It is surrounded by reeds and therefore protected from prying eyes from other sides of the lake. The highlight of the beach is the round sun jetty that leads into the water. This is the favourite spot for all sun worshippers. Anglers will find some quiet spots and a place to clean their fish afterwards. Dogs are very welcome on the site. Water slides, a children's playground and a small golf course provide the necessary recreational fun. Guests can let off steam on the beach volleyball court. The historic town of Tihany with its baroque abbey, which is located on the peninsula of the same name extending far out into the lake, is a beautiful destination nearby. From here, visitors have a beautiful view of the town of Siófok, which is also worth a visit.
