We felt very comfortable here and had nothing to complain about. The sanitary buildings are somewhat aging but always spotlessly clean. The only point of criticism was the streetlight that illuminated the caravan at night.. ;)

Good campsite, good shopping options, entertainment, clean sanitary facilities, nice beach (where dogs are not allowed) with cocktail bar, good value for money, friendly staff. We were on site from 28.08. Apparently, with our arrival, the cleanup for winter began. From early morning until late afternoon, chairs, tables, tableware, cutlery,... were scrubbed, rinsed, clattered, crashed,... in the wash house. From 7 a.m. until late afternoon.

Overall, a solid place, which shows in some spots that it has been around for several years. However, we wouldn’t come here again. A few long-term residents, predominantly Hungarian holidaymakers, followed by Germans, Slovaks, and some Dutch. Unfortunately, we did not feel particularly welcome or comfortable - perhaps the locals prefer to stick to themselves. Check-in is officially from 3 PM, but if the campsite is free, you can arrive earlier. Not between 1 PM and 3 PM, however. Pros Direct location by Lake Balaton with a private guarded beach Snack bar at the beach Restaurant with good value for money and great staff Small shop for daily needs 2 family bathrooms Reception speaks German and English Washing machines for a fee, unfortunately, there are too few machines for the large campsite, and a deep cleaning is urgently needed. Cons Most Hungarians do not dispose of gray water; it simply runs onto the ground. The site operators either do not want to see this or tolerate it. Cleanliness in the sanitary facilities is in need of improvement - constant mopping of the floor with the same water does not remove the many cobwebs and insects on the walls and in the corners. Chipped tile corners or broken parts of the partition wall. Too few toilets, daily queues for the men’s room. Hot water in the showers is unfortunately only available until about 8 PM; the later it gets, the less hot water is available. After 11 PM, the showers are closed, but it is still possible to shower in the family bathrooms. The reasoning behind this did not make sense to us. Children’s animation is only in Hungarian… unfortunately, as non-local kids would love to participate, but this is only possible in activities that don't require explanation, like dancing or crafting. A rental service for go-karts and others is offered, but the operator and her entourage should be approached with caution. Non-local children are very harshly reprimanded by her, and if you ask for an explanation afterwards, you are simply left standing and nothing more is said to you. Conclusion For vacationing in their own country, it is certainly great for Hungarian families, but for us, the many downsides significantly dampened the holiday feeling.

Nice spot directly by the Balaton with a beautiful clean beach! With a bit of post-communist charm, the washhouses are sufficiently available and the respective cleaning staff are cleaning all day, but they could use a janitor. They are only open until 11 PM, but that doesn't matter because the hot water becomes scarce in the evening! (It is probably only heated by solar energy) The place is not for typically German order fanatics as seen occasionally on social networks!!! There are many families with small children here, and the guests are a colorful mix of nationalities. The price-performance ratio is good, in the restaurant at the site even very good! The night watchman ensures peace from 11 PM, relatively humorlessly!

Perfect for families looking for animation and fun. The sanitary facilities are spacious and clean, unfortunately the showers are only open until 11:00 PM. The offerings at the site are sufficient, so there's no boredom. Recommended for families.
