Flat meadow terrain with maple trees, on the outskirts. Adjacent football field. Railway line and road within earshot.
Between Trier and Koblenz, the river is accompanied by busy roads, sometimes on both banks. Combined with heavy boat traffic, this situation may cause noise disturbances at campsites located on the river.

Nice reception, beautiful pitch right by the Moselle. Sanitary facilities clearly outdated and relatively clean. We had dinner at the associated restaurant. Unfortunately, there was a complaint as the meat in both dishes was not cooked through. This was rather brusquely exchanged by the not particularly friendly waitress previously, with a comment that we should have reported earlier. We would have done that, but unfortunately, she did not come back to the terrace for a long time, so we even had to look for her inside and call her to our table. So camping is okay, but eating out is not.

The campsite is situated, elongated, directly on the Moselle and is divided into 5 areas (Camp 1 to Camp 5). In Camp 3 is the sanitary building. We arrived at 12 o'clock. However, the reception only opens at 2 o'clock. So we had to wait 2 hours until the reception was staffed. Since several other campers also arrived in the meantime, we ended up waiting another half hour before check-in. The check-in process is somewhat cumbersome and could certainly be improved or expedited. We received a pitch in Camp 3, near the sanitary facilities. The sanitary facilities are very old (70s), but they were relatively clean at the time of our visit. The cleaning is rather superficial. The focus is on the floor. Access to the sanitary facilities is only with a key card. In Camp 1 is the reception and a restaurant, which we never visited. We went out to eat in the village. The Straußwirtschaft Sturm-Pargen on Bahnhofstraße is recommended. They have good tarte flambée and good wines.

Nice campsite operators. Unfortunately not suitable for those with mobility impairments, as there are stairs leading to the toilet and so on. The site and sanitary house super clean. Located directly on the Moselle bike path.

Even without a reservation, the nice owner had a sunny little spot in a meadow for our van. Everything very well maintained. No children present. Very quiet. Washroom clean. Restaurant recommended. Bicycle path along the Moselle. Nice little town 300m walking distance. No dog poop even though dogs are allowed. We would love to come back!

Nice campsite with a great location. Nice area. Continental pitches are also very close to the Moselle. Waste disposal is difficult - because there is only 1 hour in the morning. Otherwise, a nice place for short holidays...

Waste disposal only from 9 to 10 am Why??? Toilets closed, why??? Other campsites in RP have long since had more advanced concepts. Parking with the camper is only possible in one direction on the pitch. Why??? Catering closed, even though the pubs in the village are open, to avoid having to open the toilets??? Last weekend we encountered other sites along the Moselle that had significantly more progressive COVID-compliant concepts than profit maximization.

The site is located directly on the Moselle, separated only by a bike path. Ideal for cycling and hiking tours, and for dog lovers. Super nice staff. Clean sanitary facilities and a beautiful small site with a lot of peace for relaxing.
