The site looks a bit neglected.
Space is just about okay for a night on the way, but the price is extortionate, €43 for two people. No Wi-Fi, long walks to the water, you need long cables for electricity. Registration is very cumbersome, computer and printer are from the Stone Age. Staff is well-meaning, but the technology fails.

We were here for the second time and will come again. However, not for a vacation but only for a weekend. Unfortunately, rolls can only be picked up at the reception starting at 8:00 AM, which is actually much too late for us. I would wish for 7:00 or at the latest 7:30 AM. Absolutely not to recommend! Staff unfriendly and just barely willing to do the bare minimum. One sanitary building is closed, the other one is only kept minimally clean. AZUR Camping Ingolstadt boasts excellent transport links, an idyllic location in the middle of a forest and direct access to the lake. Thanks to the wide range of facilities for young and old, the campsite is ideal for a relaxing holiday with the family.
Camping close to nature with a lakeside location
The campsite is situated in a quiet location and covers an area of 10 hectares. Just 1.5 km from the nearest motorway access, it is also easy to reach. There are a total of 170 pitches for holidaymakers. Electricity connections, gas bottle sales, a washroom and well-kept sanitary facilities offer maximum comfort. The many child-friendly facilities, such as table tennis, a playground, a kettcar hire service and a mini-golf course, ensure that young guests never get bored. Typical Bavarian specialities are served in the associated Auwaldsee restaurant. A small camping shop offers additional necessities as well as fresh bread rolls and coffee in the morning. The many excursion destinations, such as Ingolstadt, which is only about 4 kilometres away, make for an entertaining stay. Ingolstadt has numerous museums, such as the Museum of Concrete Art, which promises entertaining hours even on rainy days. If the weather is nice, it's worth exploring the surrounding area by bike. Bikes are available for hire next to the campsite. During the warmer months in particular, you can also simply spend the day on the directly accessible pebble beach of the lake and take a dip in the cool water. Small boats can be hired and fishing is also permitted. In general, the picturesque view of the lake and the surrounding forests make for a close-to-nature experience.
