We have been coming here for many years during the week of Ascension Day. We enjoy the tranquility and the landscape. The staff at the reception and restaurant are very nice. We feel exceptionally comfortable. This year we were very surprised because the bungalow we rent every year has gotten a new floor, a new ceiling, and new furniture and beds. We can absolutely recommend Velky Vir, even in the pre-season! Super relaxation, super staff, super landscape! We will come back next year! Uwe and Carla Kämmerzehl from Langenpreising/Bavaria

One star for the reservoir and surroundings. Electricity connections are only available for permanent campers, but are charged. Sanitary facilities are not only old (which wouldn't be a problem) but decrepit and dirty. I will not come back.
