We have been coming here for many years, but we must unfortunately note that the quality is increasingly declining while the price continues to rise. Swimming pool: The sanitary facilities in the indoor pool urgently need to be refurbished. Water stains on the ceiling, exposed concrete with rusty rebar in the changing area, rust also in the toilet area at the corner taps and at the feet of the partition walls in the toilet. Additionally, there are 2 showers in the ladies' shower that are defective, which has not been a recent issue. Cracked and moldy silicone joints can also be found everywhere. The water toys have been repaired, but only what was absolutely necessary. Also about the staff: The female staff member sitting very unfriendly at the entrance is responsible for the bistro and works as a lifeguard. The role of the lifeguard is therefore not actually present.

Wash areas with washing machine and hanging options, ski room, washroom with free 5-minute rinse machine. Numerous offers for children (only up to about 12 years): Kettcar, trampoline, playgrounds, playhouse, football 'cage', tennis courts, indoor pool with several basins and a large slide, mini go-kart, bouldering hall, wellness. Disadvantage, but still understandable: everything costs extra, but it’s okay and payment regulates and distributes everything. Roads are paved, so good for scooters and inline skates. Unfortunately, not all sites have a concrete boundary, so the neighbor's awning unfortunately takes up some space of your own site (we couldn’t even set up our awning). But very negative: shop prices are almost outrageously expensive, even compared to similar sites: roll/brezel about 1.60; Aperol 29 euros).

As many have already written, a fantastic campground that truly deserves 5 stars. Spacious sites and very clean and stylishly designed sanitary facilities. The cleaning staff is always on point to keep everything clean. Overall, the campground staff is super friendly and helpful. They always have a smile on their face. We will definitely come back and can recommend the place with a clear conscience!

We were there in the last week before the winter break and it was either due to the upcoming vacation or it is always the case that the washhouse next to the underground garage (freshly renovated) is very dirty. It gets wiped once a day and that’s it. No smeared mirrors cleaned, webs and dust bunnies hung from the vents in the showers. There were stains of urine on the toilet walls, the paper holders were totally dusty. The swimming pool itself was very nice except for the patched floor where the pool was expanded and the extremely dirty changing room. The staff, except for those at the reception, could be friendlier. Kiosk prices are worse than at the gas station on the highway. Food at the Jagdhof is not recommended and expensive. Steakhouse with a new tenant is super organized and delicious. Chicken and rabbit enclosures desperately need maintenance. The playhouse and cinema were really enjoyed by our kids. The climbing hall should perhaps consider an access stop after a certain number of guests, as it tends to be very overcrowded during peak times and bad weather, otherwise it's top except for the unfriendly service in the café. We did not experience any peace and quiet at the site. It is even possible to drive around at night and dispose of glass. Overall a nice place with a great location but needs improvement.

Pros: Sanitary facilities clean, childcare for camping guests is free, great playgrounds. Cons: The farm is a joke, the Western town is very disappointing (food is bad, mostly closed), wellness and climbing cost extra, shop is very expensive.

It is a very nice campsite. The sanitary facilities are very nice. However, there is a lack of soap dispensers and paper towels in the children's bathroom. The Dwarf Land - playground for toddlers - has been beautifully designed at one time. But now it is again in need of action. Some parts are broken, plastic parts have aged. They also need a cleaning. Also, in the swimming pool, the basic principle and offers are great, but some things are also defective. Only one spot for toilet emptying. The western town has almost everything closed, although the place is full. The small animal zoo is an enclosure with chickens and unseeable rabbits. As a zoo, you cannot classify that. And the farm is a horse stable. It is beautiful, but there is a need for improvement for 5 stars and the prices and relatively small sites (even premium). PS: Sites by the road are said to be very loud, but we had one further inside.

The campsite has a lot of offers for children as well as for toddlers. However, I find the term "petting zoo" exaggerated for an enclosure full of chickens. The indoor pool is very nicely done, but there is urgent need for action here, as the coating on the bottom is deteriorating and 2 out of 4 play equipment in the children's pool are broken. The campsite is very nicely laid out, as is the new reception, but I must say that the playgrounds and play equipment urgently need to be repaired. Overall, a very nice place, but if maintenance is not taken care of, one should reconsider the 5-star rating and the price, as it is no longer entirely justified. One can tell that the place was created with a lot of love, but the interest in maintaining the 5-star rating is fading. Many things are included in the price, such as free use of the washing machine, but also a lot to pay extra for, such as the indoor pool, trampoline, gold panning,.....

At the Aufenfeld - Erlebnis Resort Zillertal campsite, the name says it all: the beautiful campsite in the idyllic Zillertal promises relaxation, comfort and a unique range of leisure activities and facilities for children. This makes a camping holiday an unforgettable experience for the whole family.
Just a short walk from the centre of Aschau, the well-equipped Aufenfeld - Erlebnis Resort Zillertal campsite awaits its guests. Campers can choose from three categories on the 370 parcelled pitches: - Standard pitch with electricity and TV connection (CEE Euro plug) - Comfort pitch with electricity, TV and waste water connection as well as gas bottle supply and emptying of cassette toilets - Luxury pitch with additional private sanitary cabin for ultimate independence
All three categories offer fantastic views of the Zillertal Alps for free. The meadow terrain is predominantly flat and therefore perfectly passable for motorhomes and motor caravans. Right next to the pitches, the spacious bathing lake with sunbathing lawn and water playground promises refreshment on hot summer days. Those not travelling with their own vehicle can choose between the cosy "Jagdhof" and "Wiesenhof" holiday chalets. Guests can spend a carefree family holiday with every imaginable advantage in the excellently equipped solid wood family flats in true Tyrolean style. For even more comfort, new, spacious changing rooms with showers have been installed and the self-belay system has also been extended so that you can enjoy a carefree holiday at the campsite.
The Aufenfeld - Erlebnis Resort Zillertal campsite earns its 5 stars not only because of its fantastic facilities, but also because of the incredibly diverse range of leisure activities on offer for the whole family. While the children explore the adventure playground, discover the climbing areas with the new Kinderland or greet the dwarf goats in the petting zoo, adult guests can relax after a strenuous day of hiking or skiing in the unique Western-style sauna area and enjoy pure wellness in the aroma steam bath, Finnish sauna, bio-sauna and infrared cabins. Afterwards, relax in the 30° warm water of the indoor pool.
Those who prefer a bit of action can climb the 60 metre long water slide with time measurement or set new records in the sports pool. The adventure pool with its floor whirlpool, white water channel and counter-current system promises a very special experience for daredevils. There is, of course, a separate children's and baby pool for the little ones and a swimming pond with a waterfall and wooden walkways in the leisure park. There is no time for boredom away from the water either. The Zillertal climbing centre is located directly on the holiday resort grounds with over 1,300 m² of climbing area and a large bouldering area for beginners and advanced climbers, which has been expanded with new bouldering areas for even more climbing fun. The new climbing training area, including a kilter board, is equally impressive. If you're lucky, you might find your fortune prospecting for gold in the western village of "Mount Lake City". Active holidaymakers can enjoy the beach volleyball court, the skating rink and the riding area. The campsite's fitness room boasts a new strength area - here you can work out with cardio, at the weight stations or in the dumbbell and barbell area, and there is also plenty of space for group and mobility training. A new yoga room has been set up to provide the perfect balance, while physiotherapy and massage services also ensure a relaxing and restful camping holiday. Of course, children don't have to be bored at the holiday park. In the high season, the children's entertainment programme keeps them entertained with activities such as pony rides, campfires and ball games in the fun court. The gastronomic facilities leave nothing to be desired and offer traditional Tyrolean cuisine and homemade pizza in the restaurant as well as a snack for the small appetite in between. A special highlight is the new, unique bar with café and a spacious terrace, and there is also a separate children's birthday party room for younger guests. Self-catering guests will find a variety of fresh food in the supermarket and can simply put together their own menu. Campers have the opportunity to get to know other holidaymakers in the recreation room or during the entertainment programme.
Thanks to its perfect location, the Aufenfeld - Erlebnis Resort Zillertal is an ideal base for exploring the surrounding area. The Zillertal invites you to enjoy exciting outdoor activities with its wonderful nature and impressive mountain scenery, including several three-thousand metre peaks. Extensive hikes and mountain bike tours are among the classic leisure activities in Tyrol. The well-maintained trails also allow families with small children to explore the Zillertal. Another plus point: the holiday resort is equally suitable for summer camping and winter holidays. Camping Aufenfeld - Erlebnis Resort Zillertal is located in one of the most beautiful winter sports areas in Tyrol. In frosty temperatures, the entire region becomes a paradise for winter sports enthusiasts and you can take the T-bar lift to the piste for skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing or tobogganing. Beginners can learn their first steps in the ski school and try out the practice lift. The region is also rich in excursion destinations. The Natural Ice Palace in Fügen, the Arena Coaster alpine rollercoaster and the FeuerWerk wood adventure world are particularly popular. For an unforgettable day trip, the chic provincial capital of Innsbruck with its imperial Hofburg palace is well worth a visit.
