You pay extra for electricity, environment, mobility, and tourism

Beautiful view and clean restrooms, but lacking atmosphere with expensive 'extras' Pros: The view is lovely, the reception is warm, the restrooms are spotlessly clean, and the attached Italian restaurant serves great meals (though the drinks are quite pricey). Cons: The campsite lacks coziness. It’s a bare meadow with few trees or shaded areas, adjacent to a noisy main road. The permanent campers with winter roofs are unattractive and dominate the scene. The wifi works poorly. Biggest frustration: The opaque pricing. Although the ACSI card is accepted, the final bill comes as a disappointment. You suddenly pay extra for electricity, environment, mobility, and tourist tax. Additionally, the extra costs for the dog should not be added to the ACSI rate. Overall, this makes the total costs quite high for a basic camping low-season rate.

Beautifully located place with deficiencies in the sanitary area

The site is quite compact and beautifully located in Wald im Pinzgau. Nice owners and delicious food in the on-site pizzeria. Ideally located for hiking, paragliding, and cycling tours. However, the sanitary facilities were not in good condition. Often the toilet paper was finished, cleaning seemed to happen rather rarely. The (only 3!) showers for men were partially affected by black mold and were very dated. A thorough cleaning would have been nice. There are no water tap points on the site, only in the washing area.

Very simply maintained campsite, with somewhat dated toilets. Showers and toilets clean. You need 1€ coins for 6 minutes of showering. The owner is really nice and the pizza is fantastic in the restaurant. Super place for transit and also the only one nearby that was probably open in the low season. Dog is welcome but walking them is difficult. Thank you! Happy to come again if needed!
