ALPAKAFARM Natur-Komfort-Stellplaetze

We enjoyed daily interesting variations; we often ventured out with our dogs in Thuringia, seeing a lot and getting to know and enjoy a beautiful region in the heart of Thuringia. Our premium caravan pitch was perfect on the beautiful large meadow, and we, especially our dogs, had plenty of room to run around. Moreover, we didn’t have to confine the dogs, as we had at least 400 square meters just for ourselves - absolutely amazing! We stayed for almost 2 weeks and genuinely felt at home. Additionally, we learned a lot of interesting things about alpaca breeding on the farm. We are thrilled with this generous pitch and plan to spend a few days here again in October, especially since we enjoy the sauna and the heated pool so much. We highly recommend this premium pitch!

We really felt at home on the farm!! The therapy hours with the alpacas were so relaxing, better than any medicine; after a few days, we felt like we were reborn! Everything was available around the spacious pitch; every camper's heart beats higher there - especially in the midst of nature, the absolute tranquility, the pure recovery!!! We were there for a few days in September and October 2025; now in 2026 we have even booked our summer holiday at the Alpaca Farm pitch because we really want to relax with our dog and our two grandchildren... We plan to go on some bike tours and explore the nearby cities, especially Erfurt and Weimar, using grandfather Dieter's Smart Cabrio. We are already looking forward to our next holiday in Thuringia at the ALPAKAFARM for relaxation, with comfort and even a heated pool.

Totally interesting seminars on Alpaka and Ridgeback breeding, particularly the training of the animals to become therapy Alpaka and special RRR dogs; everything was really exciting and real experiences! Our two children and dogs also really enjoyed everything, so we will return several times next year with our WoMo to the ALPAKAFARM, where we will stay overnight and spend a lot of time with the animals! The WoMo pitches are on a large meadow; flat terrain, the grass is a dream, we only walked barefoot. Our pitch was spacious enough at about 160 sqm, where we could set up a small tent for the children and the dogs. Overall, we spent 3 times 3 days in the summer of 2025 at the ALPAKAFARM and each time we had interesting experiences; next year we will again schedule a few appointments and seminars alongside our tours with "OPA DIETER".

The size of our pitch; for our caravan and two large tents, for our 3 children and 2 dogs, etc. was with 200 m² more than enough, grass area and totally flat terrain, really super! The central location of the campsite allowed us to make excursions with our bicycles to the surrounding towns and landscapes, this was important and interesting for us; especially the "Ilm-Tal-Cycle Path"! Every morning we actively participated in feeding the alpacas and during the 2 weeks at the Achelstadt alpaca farm, we learned all about the care and breeding of alpacas from the farm owners, this was a unique and interesting experience for the whole family!! Almost every evening we spent time together with our children enjoying the farm's pool to wrap up our vacation day with barbecuing, etc. Super farm experiences! We'll be back.

We spent our summer vacation at the ALPAKACAMPING site. It was beautiful. Yes, it felt almost like coming home for us, as we also live in the countryside in Bavaria; therefore, we love relaxation with a lot of peace and quiet around the animals to enjoy. We were warmly welcomed with open arms, whether we were adults, our two children, or our dog. The children were allowed to 'just be children' and in the mornings, the 'Alpaca feeding' was the highlight. It’s also great that one can use the heated pool, especially for the children! The sanitary facilities are new, well thought out, and completely adequate. For us, it was perfect. We are looking forward to coming back and are already excited about the next stay, perhaps again in August, but then for at least 2 weeks on the farm at ALPAKACAMPING with 'Grandpa Dieter and Lilly'. We say 'THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU' !!!

We were, along with my daughter, guests at the "ALPAKAFARM-Nature-Comfort-Campingplace" and we are simply thrilled! Both owners are incredibly warm-hearted and provided us with an unforgettable stay – with so many loving extras. ? The highlight was of course feeding the alpacas and relaxing amidst the alpacas – a truly special experience! But also the beautiful atmosphere, the dreamlike views, the absolute tranquility, and the lovingly decorated spots made our visit perfect. You can feel the hospitality and passion with which this place is run everywhere. Moreover, we spent 3 days driving around in the Smart Cabrio, provided by "Opa Dieter"; for shopping, visiting restaurants, and sightseeing...! Just brilliant and comfortable!! We felt completely at home and will definitely return in the summer of 2026...

A great place if you're looking for peace and a family atmosphere amidst nature. The comfort is unique and is constantly being expanded. A heated pool and the proximity of the alpacas help you forget daily stress even in autumn. The location is top-notch; absolute peace for campers who want to lounge as well as hike. The comfort on the pitches, in the sanitary area, and in the leisure area is unique and exceptionally good for such a "small nature camping site"; everything has been thought of for the well-being of the campers... The absolute highlight is the daily morning feeding of alpacas, the informative talks about alpaca breeding with the owners, the hours of "reflection" in the company of the alpaca mares with their foals, and above all the "live experience" of alpaca births! I have already been here twice this year and will definitely come back...
