West of the town there is a military training area. In spring, you may occasionally experience disturbances due to military training activities.

For me, Albertinelund is the absolute dream place. I camped there in the early 70s as a little boy with my parents, in 1969 my father and my brother saw the moon landing there. If you know the north, then you not only understand this place but Djuersland in general. Bj3n
The place is very modern today; I used to like everything old there, I hold it in my heart. Nothing lasts forever, and times change. However, the origin is still there, which is why a long-term permanent camping there is the number one commandment regarding my quality of life. Bj3n
