Pros

The sanitary facilities Very quiet despite the road and river Pitch/rental accommodation: Large pitch, nice neighbors

Cons

We had a medical emergency and the only response at the reception was: You can see what's going on here, you have your own phone Just a quick call to the Zams hospital

Pros

A pleasant small campsite, ideal for the journey to Italy. A 10 for the sanitary facilities, they were really top-notch! Pitch/Accommodation: Nice spots, plenty of space

Cons

Pitch/Accommodation: It wasn't entirely clear how big our spot was, we only realized this after we had set up the caravan.

Pros

nice new sanitary facilities Pitch/rental accommodation: a nice location by the Inn

Cons

Tunnel for the road to be requested from the authorities in Prutz/Innsbruck; leaving 5 days earlier due to the unexpected noise level from the Reschenpass highway cost us 100 € (I would always flee earlier... even if it costs) here they could be more accommodating. Pitch/rental accommodation: Our site sloped steeply down to the Inn and could not be compensated by cranking/ bracing, other campground operators strive to ensure guests have a reasonably level pitch...

Cons

The playground is somewhat outdated, but it doesn't really seem to belong to the campsite.

Pros

Beautiful location, perfect for accessing the gondolas. Pitch/Rental accommodation: The spot was very spacious.

Cons

More shower and washing up facilities between 7 PM and 9 PM are too crowded, and you end up waiting in line at both.

July 2025

Pros

We were very surprised when we arrived at the campsite, unfortunately not in a positive way. The pictures on the website do not match the actual appearance of the campsite. It is located next to a busy road, and all the tents and caravans are very close to each other. Pitch/Accommodation: The sanitary facilities were very clean and very nice. Most of the staff were also very friendly and helpful.

Cons

The camping spots are way too small and there is absolutely no privacy. There is a lot of noise from the road next to the campsite. There was supposed to be a table tennis table at the campsite, but it was not there. Pitch/Accommodation: We have been camping together for 27 years and have never stayed at such a luxury spot where there was so little space and no privacy. We also find that the price per night is very high. We have never paid this much for a campsite.

More info about Aktiv-Camping Prutz

Its own climbing wall, direct river location on the Inn and a bubbling healing spring: these three aspects alone make Aktiv-Camping Prutz unique. Open all year round, the campsite in the Austrian province of Tyrol attracts active holidaymakers, dog owners and families with children and offers a friendly atmosphere and a wide range of leisure activities in both summer and winter.

4-star campsite right on the banks of the Inn

The popular campsite is located in the municipality of Prutz and offers its guests a high standard and a high level of comfort. Great emphasis is placed on clean sanitary facilities, hospitality and a wide range of services. The layout of the campsite is also impressive. The centrepiece is the main building, which houses the showers and bathrooms as well as the reception and a small pub. The opening hours of the pub vary depending on the season, but freshly brewed coffee is almost always available. Campsite guests can also order savoury snacks and regional delicacies here. On summer days, holidaymakers like to make themselves comfortable on the restaurant terrace and take in the lush greenery and surrounding mountain peaks while enjoying a freshly tapped beer. The 2.5-hectare Aktiv-Camping Prutz at an altitude of 866 metres has 115 pitches. Thanks to this manageable number, holidaymakers quickly come into contact with each other, get to know like-minded people and exchange everyday tips for motorhoming. Dogs are very welcome here and enjoy a refreshing dip in the Inn, especially in the summer months. There are even dog showers on site. There are also pitches of different sizes to choose from, such as the comfort pitches with an area of 60² to 85 square metres and the premium pitches with plots of 90 to 120 square metres. The leisure area with the playground and beach volleyball courts is located in the southern part of the campsite, not far from the climbing crag and the Sauerbrunn spring.

Explore the Tyrolean mountains

Relaxing is one option at Aktiv-Camping Prutz, but the focus is on sporting activities. The on-site climbing crag alone has seven different courses, six of which are ideal for newcomers to outdoor sports. Guided hikes take place regularly during the summer and in winter a free shuttle to various ski areas is available to camping holidaymakers. With 212 kilometres of pistes, the Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis winter sports area is one of the largest ski areas in the region and also caters to the interests of cross-country skiers and tobogganers. If you are still missing the right ski equipment or a pair of high-quality hiking boots, you will find suitable equipment suppliers in the nearby centre of Prutz.
