The dreamlike Ahoi Camp Darß dune campsite is located directly on the beautiful sandy beach of the Darß peninsula and is the perfect place for a relaxing camping holiday by the Baltic Sea. In summer, the site is very popular with beach holidaymakers and families. Nature lovers and cyclists enjoy the picturesque Bodden landscape. Fans of free body culture have their own nudist area with beach. A great children's programme rounds off the offer and makes the site an evergreen on the Baltic Sea coast.
The Ahoi Camp Darß campsite is located on the outskirts of the Baltic Sea resort of the same name and, with around 1,200 pitches, stretches for several kilometres along the beautiful Baltic Sea coast of the Darß peninsula. The pitches for caravans and motorhomes are located behind the dunes and almost directly on the white sandy beach - a uniquely beautiful camping experience! For campers without their own vehicle, the Regenbogencamp offers alternative caravans and tents for hire. In addition to modern sanitary facilities with comfortable bathrooms, the Rainbow Camp also has facilities for the disposal of toilet cassettes and fresh water supply. There is also a camping shop and a self-service market for everyday necessities, a bakery with a bread roll service and a highly recommended Italian restaurant. The open-air café and an ice cream parlour offer refreshments. There is also a snack bar for small snacks in between meals. Free WLAN is available in some areas of the campsite. Dogs are very welcome.
The family-friendly campsite offers various leisure activities such as mini golf, volleyball and table tennis. Sailing and surfing equipment can be hired from the neighbouring water sports school. There is also an adventure playground as well as regular evening events and children's entertainment for the youngest guests. For beach lovers, Prerow also offers a wonderful sandy beach, which is well suited for children thanks to the shallow waters to the north. Naturist campers have their own beach. The western beach is more pristine, the trees reach right up to the dunes and a rough coastal wind makes for wild waters. All signs are labelled with symbols so that children can find their way around while playing and exploring without their parents. Thanks to the helpful campsite staff and the spacious grounds, there is a relaxed atmosphere among holidaymakers.
Camping Ahoi Camp Darß is ideal for nature lovers who want to actively explore the surrounding area. Popular excursion destinations nearby include the Bodden thermal baths, the Marlow bird park and the German Amber Museum in Ribnitz-Damgarten. The peninsula and the Bodden landscape can be easily explored by bike - signposted cycle paths lead through unspoilt nature such as the Darß primeval forest or along the dyke to the lighthouse. Bicycles can be hired directly at the campsite. Due to the location of the Regenbogencamp on the outskirts of the town, the centre of Prerow with its small shops and restaurants is within easy walking distance.
