Site
Terraced terrain below the road with numerous tall conifers and some deciduous trees. Divided by a public circular path, away from the federal road on the shore of Lake Achensee. Views of the lake and mountains.
Access to water
Approximately 30 m long and up to 3 m wide gravel beach with adjacent sunbathing lawn. Next to it, on one side, a wooden jetty about 40 m long and 1.5 m wide along the shore, on the other side larger rocks.

Great Location, Friendly Staff, a Bit Noisy

A good place with a tent
As many have said, the sanitary facilities are a bit outdated. However, they were clean. I would come back here with the tent anytime. The tent sites are right by the shore, which makes the morning breakfast really great. We've been here twice already, and I would love to come a third time.

I Departed Early
I departed early because I was so disgusted by the sanitary facilities that I didn't want to wash there anymore. The mold on the walls in the showers was clearly visible, and I really don’t want to know what is "living" under the wood paneling.

The Location is the Only Positive
The good first, the location. It is directly on the beautiful Achensee. Unfortunately, the situation with the sanitary facilities does not match at all. Price/performance ratio not consistent
The camping site is beautifully located and very child-friendly. The surroundings offer a variety of activities for good and bad weather. The location of the site is beautifully situated between the lake and the mountains. Not recommended for a quiet camping holiday, as there is a lot of traffic passing right by the plot. Beautiful location, sanitary facilities unacceptable
The campsite is beautifully located right by Lake Achensee. The spots are small and usually quite shady. When it has rained, the spots were very muddy. First the positive: the location is very good, there is a lot to do and the view over the lake is amazing.
