We were at this campsite for the first time. We met the owner at the Stuttgart fair. It is wonderfully relaxing, and we could really enjoy our time. We both have stressful jobs and enjoy our time together even more because of that. Spacious pitches, everything really clean and well maintained, and exceptionally nice owners.

The place itself is nice, but not as quiet as we thought: In the morning at 6:30 AM, a farmer drove back and forth next to our pitch with his tractor several times (daily). The military airfield was also in operation on a weekday and was unavoidable, and during the day you could also hear the nearby railway line. The friendliness of the staff and their willingness to find solutions was positive - the apple strudel was also very good. The cleanliness of the sanitary facilities is also very commendable. The swimming pond and the herb garden for campers is a great offer as well as the maps for nearby cycling paths. And if it gets very warm, one should take a trip to the mountains and for example drive to the nearby Salzstieglhaus (ski area) and undertake a hike from there.

The campsite is very beautifully located, has large pitches. The swimming lake is very nicely designed, with resting loungers. Highly recommended for older campers.

Even after more than 15 stays at the site, we are still extremely satisfied. We especially want to emphasize the cleanliness of the entire site, including the sanitary facilities. Another compliment goes to the friendliness and helpfulness of the Pfandel family who runs it. It was definitely not our last visit.

We have been to the Pfandl's 4 times already And if all goes well, we will be there again in 2023. It is a place made for us and we can only recommend it.

We have been to this campsite a few times and everything was fine so far. Except for this time, we would like to express our disappointment. At check-in, we were informed on the side that from now on we would have to pay an entrance fee of 10.00 per person and per day for every visitor who comes to our site, no matter how briefly. When we complained that this was disproportionate, the senior manager told us that if it didn’t suit us, we should find another campsite. After this statement, we left the site and will not return. For your understanding: My wife is from a neighboring town and since we live about 800 km away, we only see each other once a year. That’s why my brother-in-law or sister-in-law occasionally drops by for a quick visit. Even my mother-in-law, who is 94 years old, would like to see where we are parked with the camper. But with 10.00 euros per person for visitation fees, it adds up. We would have gladly paid a moderate visitor fee, but this amount of 10.00 euros per person and per day is simply not customer-friendly. But as they say! Pride comes before the fall.!!!!
