Okay for one night.
Good service and communication in English possible. Restroom facilities with a known French charm (without glasses) and a bit dirty. The walk to the beach takes about 5 minutes. The view from the coast is a dream. In the evening, an employee drove several rounds with a golf cart above the site.

Site deserves a rating of 4 points and is not recommended by ADAC at all
The space specifications of 40-80m² are incorrect, most sites are a maximum of 40m². Although the site was almost fully booked, half of the showers and toilets were closed from mid-October. The water was mostly lukewarm. There were absolutely no shopping options at the site, baguettes had to be boug… More

Nice place, but..
The parking spaces are very small and I cannot imagine what it would be like there in summer. The sanitary facilities were very clean for southern French conditions, but without toilet seats and toilet paper. The overpriced internet is outrageous. Access to the two miniature beaches is through the … More

Unacceptable hygiene conditions
For motorhome users, tent or caravan campers, indecent hygienic conditions due to unisex toilets, where there are no (!!!) urinals available. And because there are no toilet lids, the gentlemen of creation (and their sons) urinate on the toilet bowls. I strongly advise against sitting down there. At… More

Friendly, Clean but Boring
We have been going to French campsites for 17 years. The Camping Le Mas Martigues is located on a cliff above a bathing bay. The staff are friendly and helpful, the site itself is very clean and nicely laid out. The beach is small and usually quite crowded. In close proximity to the beach, it is rur… More

Beautiful and great location
The campsite is situated in the midst of a pine forest. It is not very large and therefore really nice. The mobile homes for rent are new and very well-equipped. Most of them have air conditioning. There is a swimming pool for both small and large guests. The beach is 150 m away. There is a small s… More

One of the most beautiful places I have ever seen
We have been there on holiday several times now. It is a very beautiful area. So far, the mobile homes have always been clean. The view of the sea in the morning during breakfast is simply beautiful. Squirrels can be seen, which is always nice to look at. The staff are always friendly and prompt whe… More

Camping Le Mas is located directly on the Côte Bleu in the south-west of Provence, not far from Marseille. The spacious campsite is surrounded by a shady pine forest and the nearby beach is just a few metres away. Families in particular appreciate the personal and warm atmosphere, the extensive children's programme and the private pool, which invites you to relax. Dogs are welcome on the entire site.
Camping Le Mas is a family-friendly campsite with a warm atmosphere and attentive staff. On a good five hectares, guests have 104 normal-sized pitches with electricity and 196 rental bungalows at their disposal, some with enchanting sea views. The rental bungalows are equipped with a small kitchen and a bathroom. The public sanitary facilities are well maintained and also offer sufficient washing machines, dishwashing sinks and baby changing facilities. Guests can use the Wi-Fi throughout the site and there is also an internet corner in the reception area. The complex includes a multi-purpose sports field, a golf course and a bicycle hire centre. Guided hikes into the surrounding countryside are also offered. Families with children can enjoy a varied entertainment programme for the little ones. Meanwhile, parents can relax by the large warm water pool. The beautiful sandy beach of Sainte-Croix is just a few metres away. The deep blue sea here is pleasantly shallow, so even small children can enjoy the water or build sandcastles to their heart's content. Afterwards, a restaurant with regional dishes and a snack bar cater for your physical well-being. Self-caterers will find everything they need in a small supermarket. The nearest larger town of Martigues is around 13 km away and can be reached quickly by car. The small town impresses with its colourful alleyways and offers further shopping facilities and restaurants.
The varied landscape of the Camargue around Martigues with its dense forest and beautiful coastline has a lot to offer. Climbing, canoeing, horse riding, hiking or exploring the surrounding area by bike - sports enthusiasts will get their money's worth. Surrounding towns such as Arles, Aix-en-Provence and Marseille will enchant you with their Provençal architecture. Van Gogh was once inspired by Arles and immortalised the city in many of his works. In the former provincial capital of the Roman Empire, you can still admire very well-preserved buildings from that time, such as the amphitheatre or the Alyscamps. With its many sights and excellent restaurants, the enchanting harbour city of Marseille is also well worth a day trip. France's second largest city can be easily reached from Camping Le Mas in just over half an hour via the motorway.
