In the east of the Netherlands, Camping Goorzicht is a recreational paradise for families with children. The campsite, which is open all year round, is located in Aalten in the Achterhoek. The region in the province of Gelderland is also known as the "back corner" and is characterised by a picturesque natural landscape of forests, wide meadows and gently babbling streams. Hikes and cycle tours take you past quaint farmsteads and stately manor houses such as Huis Landfort. The campsite has a grassy area for motorhomes and caravans and two heated outdoor swimming pools with a water slide for swimming fun. A large playground, bouncy cushions and a colourful entertainment programme including covered wagon rides and treasure hunts make children's hearts beat faster. Sports enthusiasts will get their money's worth with football, volleyball and basketball.
